Stretch Marks

Question Posted Saturday November 14 2009, 7:08 pm

I'm only 17 and I have these awful stretch marks on my hips and I have no idea why. And I also have a dark skin color, so they show up really well. I want to be able to wear a regular bikini when I go to the beach this summer. I've always had to wear the ones with shorts, but I don't like them so much now. Is there any way I can get rid of them, or make them less visible? Please help!

im only 13 and i have the same problem! i know it really sucks but the only real way to get rid of them is expensive lazer treatments. it's hard but let your confidence shine through. don't worry about those marks. wear whatever you want to and rock it with confidence(:

Bio Oil and Mederma are supposed to help fade scars. You can get them at drugstores or Walmart. I am trying to get rid of mine too.

Buy some cocoa butter or you can get laser treatment or stretch mark surgery but i wouldn't advise it i'd just stick to the less painful way and get some cream :)
