I worked at a pizza resturant making pizza for two years, I never ate there or worked out and I lost 23 pounds. Because all I did was slap doe around and run back inforth with 65 pound flour bags. Its not considered exercise its called being highly active unless you do a lot of lifting.

Good question. Why don't you weigh yourself?
2. is this considered exercise?
Sure, if you want it to be exercise. Exercise is anything that gets the blood pumping, whether it's walking, gardening, or running a marathon. I think your job could be considered exercise, but I wouldn't call it STRENUOUS exercise. You probably won't notice any noticeable difference in the way you feel or the way your muscle tone looks, unless you do a lot of lifting. Standing and walking around a restaurant does burn calories, but it definitely isn't a real workout. [ takingfive's advice column | Ask takingfive A Question ]

And I suppose it could be considered excersise if you do it for awhile each day...

Your job is giving you more excersice than someone that sits at a desk all day, but I wouldn't call it a daily work out. But every little bit helps.
