I really like this guy, but he's shy, so I don't know what to do exactly. How do I know if he feels the same way toward me? He never talks (well he does, but he doesn't enjoy it.) and has like no friends. He's not... the hottest guy, but I really like him and his personality. What should I do? I'm a girl and I'm turning 14.

If you get to the point of going out with him then let him be very nervous on the first dat and maybe the second dat but then you'll see that he'll get less shy and it will be a better relationship. Goodluck

start off as friends and work your way up. talk to him and work up a conversation. hopw it works out for you.
Deanimal answered Thursday April 22 2004, 1:47 am: There's only one thing to do... talk to him. Not about anythig really heavy, but like you would to anyone else. Try writing notes. Sometimes shy people like to write notes. Be his friend at least. Then hug him or something, or just tell him you like him. [ Deanimal's advice column | Ask Deanimal A Question ]

Telling him he has a nice personality is a compliment, and sometimes compliments help reduce a persons shyness level. Plus you'll never know what he really thinks of you unless you speak up.
