Siblings fight. He probably knows that you're still his sister at the end of the day. You should probably try and get his phone number before he leaves. My mum and her brother used to fight when they were younger and they're friends now. It'll pass don't worry.

I know how you feel, thats how me and my sister are, I am 14 and shes 16 bout to leave for collage... i didn't know what to do!! I didnt want her to leave, but then I just Needed to spend some time with her, Go out to eat with her, See some movies w/ my friends anre her and now, we are tthe best of friends! why don't you try talking to him, spend some time become friends, then you won't feel as bad when he leaves, all you will have to do when you miss him is remeber the good times you've had =)

My guess is it is just a phase, it's his age. He is going away to college, becoming more independent, and wants to be an adult. He doesn't want to associate with his little sister. Give him some time, college boys can be jerks, they think they are so cool. He'll eventually grow up and become more mature.

My little sister and I hated eachother at that age too. I couldn't stand her. But we are both older now, and have our own lives, our own homes, and now she is one of my best friends.

I hope the same will be true for you.
