well first i think you should find out what this guy thinks about you. Then if it turns out he doesjust go up to him and ask him if it is alright with him that when you go skating it is a day.

Seems more like an outing... a chance to get to know each other in a social setting, as opposed to a date, which would be just the two of you... but sounds like fun in any case!

If you just got together with this boy and still get nervous around him, this is the perfect opportunity to be yourself around him. You'll be with your friends, and they will help you feel comfortable. There will be more conversation so you won't have akward moments of silence. And why aren't you skating? It is a good excuse to get close and hold hands. By the end of the night you will be more confident around him and the nervousness will fade.

It's true, there is a fine line between "casual get together" and a date if you two just started going out. You don't have to be all lovey-dovey around your friends. You might gross them out. If you nervous, just relax. Your boyfriend shouldn't be pushing you to do anything that you don't want to do so you shouldn't have to worry about anything.

Well all I can say is I know how people could be around people they like. Just try your best to act normal, be cool, and just have fun. He likes you for hoo you are so go with the flow.
