I want to build a web site with a 3d walk through town on it. What software should i use and where can i get it. (free if possible)

if i may mention there is a download program
available called Kazaa...you'll need to
go to www.kazaa.com...download it...it's a really cool program..you can download anything you want including 3D software....after you download kazaa...type in the search bar "3D software"...and something should pop up...if you have any problems write back....by the way kazaa is free...

There is an excellent (and free) 3D program known as <a href="[Link](Mouse over link to see full location); target=_new>Blender.</a> Learn it, use it, and create your own standalone 3D walkthrough for any platform.

The only way you can do this is if you get hold of a 3d engine and know about codeing in C/+/++ or Perl [for instance]. I would recomend you try asking your question on slashdot.org or serching on google for 3d rendering engines, tutorials et al.
