For a bladder infection - burning on urination, frequent urination, and a feeling of urgency (got to get to the bathroom quickly.) If the infection had gone up into the kidney you will have back pain, especially just under the ribs on one side, and a fever, usually a high one. Sometimes people don't have these obvious symptoms, but suddenly get very ill and need to go to the emergency room. These don't clear up without an doctor, and an antibiotic. If you suspect you have a kidney or bladder infection, see a doctor.
