Annie answered Tuesday February 17 2004, 6:42 pm: Well, my troubled writer, this problem has been bothering the best of us since the beginning of written record. Choosing between writing utensils is like choosing between children for some of us. Luckily for you, it is unnecessary to choose. Some tasks are best with a pencil, for example mathematics, while others, like letter writing, are really best with a pen. I would consider, for convenience's sake, purchasing a utensil that is both a pen and a pencil, giving you the best of both worlds. [ Annie's advice column | Ask Annie A Question ]
