i tried to make hot cocoa on the stove and welded some kind of not-so-much chocolate substance to the bottom of a pan... my question is, how do i get this stuff off? then... is it still good to eat? it looks chocolate colored.
alderworth1 answered Wednesday June 2 2004, 11:04 pm: put a lil water on top then microwave it for about ten min.'s but if it's metal put it in the oven as hot as u can go without hurting the pan and no i would suggest not eating the shit in the bottom [ alderworth1's advice column | Ask alderworth1 A Question ]
notnormal answered Monday February 2 2004, 12:28 am: I don't think it is any good to eat if it doesn't come off the pan easily.
Soak the pan in warm soapy water for an hour or so. Dump the water out and rinse it, then use Brillo or SOS pads to scrub the rest off. If it is a teflon coated non-stick pan don't use Brillo or SOS, but a non-metal, green scratch pad instead. [ notnormal's advice column | Ask notnormal A Question ]
DruidX answered Sunday February 1 2004, 7:14 pm: How welded? Can it be scraped off? If so, scrape a bit off and taset it. I expect it will takes burnt though. Your best bet is to put in some washing up liquid, and warm water and leave it to soak for a while, then use an abrasive pad to scrub it off. Have fun >:) [ DruidX's advice column | Ask DruidX A Question ]
shay*shay answered Sunday February 1 2004, 2:49 pm: Try it! See if it tastes like choclate if it doesnt soak it with lots of water and soap for about half an hour. After that it should come of really easily with a spounge. [ shay*shay's advice column | Ask shay*shay A Question ]
