I want to make my best friend a care package to cheer her up because that's just the sort of thing we do for each other. I guess I should put candy in it and maybe some fun little toys but I want unique little fun things, not stupid redundant little things that aren't really that fun. Anything you can think of that's surprisingly entertaining yet fits in a lunch bag?
ScaperJess answered Friday January 9 2004, 8:55 pm: You know you'd be amazed how stupid funny things like a bag of dollar store farm animals of a can of Spam will go... stupid things like that generally make people really laugh as long as you include something that’s not a gag and is serious so she doesn't think she's just a joke to you... hair things (if she like them) nail polish... small picture frame film you could get creative just walk around a drug store you'd be amazed what you and find ;) [ ScaperJess's advice column | Ask ScaperJess A Question ]

shay*shay answered Tuesday January 6 2004, 5:01 pm: Go to the $.99 store or dollar tree. They have really cool stuff there that are surprisingley neat. They're not cheap stuff either. They last a long time. Like those small glass bears, candles etc.

metawidget answered Tuesday January 6 2004, 2:34 pm: A paperback book from an author your friend likes, a roll of film with development included, a little packet of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, duct tape, prints of photos from some fun trip or activity you did together, brightly-coloured or otherwise kind of fun socks, a recipe along with the key/hard-to-find ingredients, a mix CD in a case with liner notes you've done yourself. chaos answered Tuesday January 6 2004, 8:41 am: Stickers are fun and come in many shapes and sizes. You might take a trip to your local dollar store and see if they have any small crosswords or find a word books. You could make her a card out of construction paper or magazine ads. They can really be fun and pretty. You could write her a silly poem or make up a story. [ chaos's advice column | Ask chaos A Question ]
