Moving and Boyfriend

Question Posted Monday December 8 2003, 11:54 pm

Recently my parents have decided that they're going to split up - this came as no surprise. They hate each other. Mother decided she wants to get out of the State, and move down south to Florida.
I have the choice of going with her or staying with my dad, here. I told my boyfriend that we might be moving (it's not a sure thing yet.) and he freaked. The thing is, I really want to move and start over somewhere else, but I don't want to leave him. He keeps suggesting long-distance relationship, but i've had those and I really don't like them.
I don't know how to decide what to do. I don't want to leave him. I think I really love him. But I want to start over so bad. Any advice?

Move. Start over. Tell him you'll e-mail and miss him but I agree, LD relationships not only don't work, they aren't worth the hassle if you're under the age of, say, 34. He'll just have to understand.
