Why would they not let you got to church again if you like this one boy? That seems silly. You said typical Asian parents, I'm guessing there setting up a racial barrier for you. Welcome to the new world, were racial borders cross and it’s perfectly socially expectable, for the most part. If they wont let you go to that church for whatever reason, go to another church; find a new religion, of another church for your religion elsewhere... You have to decide if based on your values if perusing a relationship is worth the consequence, brake out the chart, write down pros and cons of each find the better alternative, or go with your gut feeling... Best to evaluate all your alternatives, and be prepared for the results
