I'd like to mention that I was a year younger than you when I converted to Christianity and my faith in this religion has continued to become stronger over the years. The fact, that you are going to church and feeling good after prayer means you are saved, you are a Christian. For self assurance, read Hebrews 11:6 which is the prayer of salvation declaring to the Lord that you believe his word is true and you accept him in your heart. You could also ask the pastor at your church if he performs baptisms, this is a rejuvenating experience and I wish you the very best [ nikz's advice column | Ask nikz A Question ]

Epiphany730 answered Saturday April 26 2014, 1:03 am: For one.. you should be careful to whom you ask that question to...
Many people will have you running around do some of the stupidiest, silliest, confusing things ever. Making bad commitments and unnecessary obligations... and worst sometimes.
I'm not a pre-ordained anything..
However, I think most religions overlap.
They typically call for a self adhesiveness to "God". Align yourself with God and others who share the same desires in the realms you wish to relate to "God". It may turn into a revival or something. *shrugs*
Share stories, read the bible, pray often (in bad AND GOOD times).
....Incomplete and/or one-sided love affairs are the worst.
Another thing is... it MAY be a critical feature in receiving and retaining blessings.....
Unless your in the company of persons who share your new values... Don't share with them your love affair with God.
All people are not capable of comprehending and/or respecting YOUR relationship with God...
123pinkgurl answered Friday April 25 2014, 4:27 pm: Going to church and reading the bible and praing are all good things and parts of being a Christian but the main thing that you need to do is ask Jesus to forgive you of all yours but you have to mean it and remember God forgives all sin there is nothing that you could ever do or have done in the past to make God be mad at you forever and remember nobody is perfect and ever body makes mistakes . I have been a Christian for almost 3 years now it will be 3 years novenber of the 25th of next year and I still make mistakes and he forgives and forgets every time. So all you have to is say this prayer and mean it Jesus I admit I am sinner and please forgive me of all my sins and he will. Hope I have helped your making the best decision you could ever make. missundersmock answered Tuesday April 22 2014, 2:24 am: Hi, i was raised christian went to church as a kid, and you know what they told us kids in the first day of sunday school? "you dont have to go to church at all to be a good christian, going to church is just going the extra mile to show you care THATS ALL, and as long as you have god in your heart and mind, then thats all you need"
They told us we didnt even need to really BE there, but if you feel like you need to believe in something to get you through rough times in your life then thats totally ok and its your choice.
at the end of the day, the goal is to just be a decent person, live a decent life, work hard, help others, and it should all work out in the end. thats what i was taught in church as a child and i follow it to this day. weather or not i read the bible cover to cover or go to church. DO what YOU think is the right thing to do, make something of yourself in life and hold those closest to you most dear. after all, god made us in his own image right? so make him proud. just be a good person thats all. = ) good luck. twist answered Tuesday April 22 2014, 1:05 am: Hi there, I'm so glad that you've decided to become a Christian.Praying is definitely a good thing to do when you're lonely or having rough times or even when you're happy. God is always there to listen. All you need to do to become a Christian is to love Jesus, to know that Jesus died for your sins so that you may live eternally and be baptized. Since you are going to church it would be a good idea to speak to the pastor or youth pastor and let them know that you want to be a Christian and they can explain the process better and help you with the baptism.
If for some reason you can't speak to your pastor, message me back and I'll see if I can assist you at all.
Hope this helps. God bless you :) [ twist's advice column | Ask twist A Question ]
masterclinic answered Tuesday April 22 2014, 12:34 am: I'm not as familiar with Christianity as I am Catholicism, but I've heard they are very similar.
My family is catholic (not me) but as a child I would go to church every Sunday and on Wednesday for Ccd which is a church class where you are put with other teens your age and are taught by a parent or someone else who has belonged to that community for a long time and is very knowledgable
Although a lot of your fellow students will be forced to go by their parents or otherwise wouldn't be there, it's still something I think you would enjoy and help you feel closer to god.
If your church has a office that is where you go to sign up, good luck I hope you find what your looking for [ masterclinic's advice column | Ask masterclinic A Question ]
Askalisha01 answered Tuesday April 22 2014, 12:26 am: I think that may be a question for the lord :) i congratulate you not many young males make the decision of giving their lives to god. But i believe the only one who can guide you threw you new found life is god himself ask him what is it you have to do to be pleasant threw his eyes. Ask him to rest in your heart and to guide you threw life. If you read the bible thoroughly it will tell you the outstanding qualities of his disciples and why he chose them. Being humble and generous kind and loving helpful and non judgemental of others. But most importantly never doubt your lord or deny him. Always hold his commandments in your heart and even when your life is at its toughest never give up on that feeling you have now. When you feel at your worst read the book of Job and see how much pain he suffered he got stripped of all his land and family and beauty and health but even in his last second of life he praised the lord!
Be strong! Christianity is not the easy path but it will be worth it when you stand before the father and he calls out your name [ Askalisha01's advice column | Ask Askalisha01 A Question ]
