Hon, I think you should elaborate on what the problem exactly is, as the gentleman asked a few answers ago. Not a good idea to try to make it on your own these days...it's pretty tough out there for grown adults. Maybe if you told us your situation we could better advise you on how to cope or where maybe to turn for help. Please write and elaborate. Hope we hear from you soon.

To become emancipated you either have to show your house in unfit and you have a job and can support your self you do also have to continue with school or your parents can sign someone else as your legal gardian or sign there rights away.

I am a great deal older than most of the advisers on this site, so my advice will be somewhat different from what you have received and may continue to receive from others.

I would really like to know what you mean by WW3 at home, how old you are and if you are being physically abused before answering your question. Being an Emancipated Minor, legal term for what you are asking for, is not all that you may think it is. To get what you want you need a Lawyer and you could end up in foster care. It depends on where you live.

If you are granted Emancipated Minor status you then have to pay for everything your parents have been paying for and would most likely pay for in the future, such as college. In short you would be trading whatever childhood you have for the not so much fun of living on your own and supporting yourself while trying to stay in school so that you can get the good jobs that provide a better life.

You might be better off going to your community family service office and asking for help. They may be able to tone down the war at home to a more livable level for you and any siblings you may have. Every problem has a solution; not all are easy to come by, some are harder than others to live with. In the end though finding a solution to a problem is better than throwing in the towel and running away from the problem.

You would have to divorce your parents. However, you are then responsible for everything. Paying for a house, food, school.

No, not really. You have to get them to sign a paper making you legally an adult. So good luck. I tried that when I was a kid too. But really, you need to stay with your parents. I thought my house was bad too...then I got out into the real world. Taking care of yourself sucks, and having to go to work every day sucks. I moved out when I was 16, and I wish i would have stayed home the 2 years I had. It's a really tough world out there and you aren't prepared for it.
