my best friends birthday is coming up and i want to get her something special...and i cant get her a neclace bc thats what i got her last year..and it cant jus be money or anything

Maybe you should try putting together pictures of your best memories with her and making her a scrapbook that would be special, or taking her out for a day to her favorite restraunt and letting her decide what you guys should do for her birthday & make it so you'll pay for everything

Get her a gift card to her favorite store. That way she can get what she wants. Even if its not a lot, she will feel good cuz you thought about her.

Well for buying maybe you can do like a theme gift.
Like for example:
A Day at the Beach.
-beach bag
-water bottle
-towel
-magazine
-sunglasses
Or
A Day at the Spa
-face mask
-a loofa thing
-eye tweezers
-a cucumber lol
-lotion
-bodywash
etc.
And maybe you can make like a collaged picture of you two and frame it.
If theres a dollarstore or something in your area you could get a nice frame.
If you don't like the theme ideas maybe some Cd's or if she has an ipod some accessories for that. Maybe some books, makeup, clothes, jewelery, etc.

get her something that reminds you two of an inside joke. or make a college of silly photos of eachother. i made my friend a video of pictures we took together and had mandy moore - cry. playing in the backround i made it on windows media player it was so cute she loved it [:
