Hey! Please don't answer saying OMG YOU'RE ANEROXIA or how ever that is spelled.
I'm 15 5'4 female about 135 pounds. I'm not really fat but i'm not skinny, but i use to eat way to much. Like i was bored, so i grabbed a cookie. Lately i've stopped eating and only eat when im hungry. Unfortunaly, i took this to the extreme by accident. I realized today i hadn't eaten (it's 6pm) all day and i should eat, so i had cheese and crackers and now im really full. I honestly hadn't realized how hungry i was. im afraid my body is going to go into starvation mode if i only eat once a day and make me fatter/ is that true? or is eating light once or twice enough to keep it satisfied and use the calories i eat?!
The ideal way to boost your metabolism is to eat numerous smaller meals throughout the day, and don't overeat at any one sitting. Spread it out throughout the day. helpnhannah answered Thursday August 18 2005, 7:00 pm: ok.. heres wat yoo need 2 noe. im in health class at mi highschool and it just so happens were covering this kinda crap now. this may sound wierd, but before i took this class, i was wanting to stop eating, and when i did eat i wanted to barf it up. (aka being belimic). i learned in this class that, A. your body needs a wide varity of foods to operate. meaning u need to be eating three balanced meals a day. yes, 3. the way you can stay thin? well thats simple. make your porportions a TINCEY (not alot but a LITTLE bit) smaller. second try your hardest 2 stay away frm the junk food [ helpnhannah's advice column | Ask helpnhannah A Question ]
xomegaroni answered Thursday August 18 2005, 6:53 pm: sorry to say but that's true. 5'4 and 135 lbs is actually almost right on. if you don't eat breakfast you do gain weight, because you don't burn calories. you need 3 meals and usually 3 snacks. by not eating you aren't burning calories either. juss eat all 3 meals and 3 healthy snacks. fruit, veggies, crackers, etc.

It will not make you fatter that isn't true.If you eat very little for breakfast that could be stored as fat when you eat again depending on how well you eat.If you eat very tasty foods you may get hungry again.Twice is much better than once but like I said eat well for breakfast! xForeverxForgottenx answered Thursday August 18 2005, 6:25 pm: well, if you dont eat in the morning, you're body will go into starvation mode and it will store fat, which isnt what you want. so eat something light in the morning. like an apple. and the same thing happens with me, if you dont eat before a certain time, then you wont be very hungry. i agree, you should cut back, just not that much. talk to your doctor to see what kinds of foods you should eat. they usually day to eat 3 meals a day, and honestly, i dont. i eat 2, but now i;m trying to eat something in the morning so i usually dont eat lunch. also try walking to burn off some calories. hope i helped.
