really need help!!

Question Posted Sunday April 3 2005, 6:29 pm

I just bought a shirt from Urban Outfitters and I got the smallest size of the shirt but it was still really long! Like to the bottom of my lower back & butt! I dont know what to do because the rest of the shirt fits good all around. Will shrinking it make it shorter? If not, what else can I do? If I should shrink it can someone give me specific instructions how? Thanks!! Ill rate 5's and give feedback =)

Dont shrink it, thats the style. Its kinda like the new short dress thing. Wear it over a pair of cute jeans

hi by washing it a few times and drying it in the dryer will eventually shrink it. if you dry it in high heat about twice it should be shorter because thats how some of my shirts are they are really long and then they became the perfect length after about two-three washes and dryed in the dryer. hope i helped. take care. x3 SweetStar.

if it fits good everywhere i think if you put it in the dryer it might shrink all over. You should cut and hem it or just tie a knot in hte back

umm... shrinking it could possibly make it tight enough to restrict breathing. Um... i would suggest cutting the desired length off and getting someone to sew a hem like bottom.

Cut it to the length you want and then sew it so it doesn't fringe.

Now I'm just here to give advice not to take the rating's but still I'll take it, just take the shirt to the laundromat and get it shrunk to a good size and maybe that will work.

Whatever you do, DON'T SHRINK IT!!!!!!!!! My sister once shrunk her pants and they didn't come out right! Maybe you should try cutting it? Bye!
