try gentle exercise (swimming and walking are good) and DON'T SKIP MEALS!! i've heard that if you skip breakfast and/or lunch, you'r more likely to have large snacks later in the day. snacks are not usually healthy, so it's better to have the main meals than to have several smaller ones. also, don't have too many carbohydrates (bread, cereals, sugar, etc) at night. this is the food that gets converted to fat if it's not used right away, so you don't want it stuck in your tummy all night while you're asleep. hope i helped some!!

When you crave something, drink water. Water fills you up very quickly, it's zero calories, and it all leaves you anyway. Keep a bottle of water handy and drink it whenever you get an urge to eat food.

well, without being able to excersize or control yourself with food, there isnt any other way. just watch what you eat, try to stick to the healthier stuff. and at least go for walks or something.

Simple--eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full, and DONT WORRY ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT. A doctor will tell you at a check-up if you are over or under weight. Your body "knows" when you need food, and it tells you by making you hungry or full or even nauseated.

Ckwop answered Sunday October 19 2003, 4:53 pm:
The first answer is your size and shape don't matter. Humans come all sorts of shape and sizes and people and we should love each other for it. Rather than conform to some sterotype.

Most people, however, don't really like this answer in that it is easier to be one of the many then it is to be unique. So if you want to change I can offer a few tips.

Don't diet to slim.. it causes all kinds of problems (it produces a yo-yo weight loss-gai effect). Extreme diets, such as the atkins diet, could cause long term heath problems.

Change your diet to a healthier balance of the major food groups. A well rounded diet is what you need. Be sure to stablise the volume you eat.

Next, do tonnes of exercise. Swimming is good.. It's low impact and burns alot of energy. Exercise 3-4 times a week for an hour or more. This will increase you metabolism and burn those pounds away.

Exercise is the key. Don't burn yourself out but don't do too little either.

I hope that helps,

Simon.

You need to deside to be happy, by making a choise. On one side you want to feel thinner then you do now, on the other side you don't really want to start exercing (how do you spell that?) more or eating less.

So you can either start exercing more and be happy that you're getting in better shape or you can do like you do now and be happy to look how you do and not having to spend a lot of very comfortable energy running around all the time.

If people tell you that you're hot just the way you are now, I would pick the easy option of not eating less or exercing.

There is of cause also some middle-ground thing like taking up a sport you actually enjoy and burning some fat that way.

MissNiceness answered Sunday October 19 2003, 11:12 am:
Start with cutting down your portions. Like when you go to McDonalds or what not, don't super size your meal. Or better yet, just get 1 little cheeseburger. When you get comfortable with that, then start substituting. Instead of a candy bar, eat a granola bar (w/chocolate chips! still high in fat, but at least you get fiber), when going to a restaurant order a gourmet salad w/chicken or steak instead of an entree. Also try to incorporate some water into your daily routine. The more you use fat-free, calorie-free water to quench your thirst, the less you'll use soda to quench your thirst. Good luck!

ScaperJess answered Sunday October 19 2003, 10:09 am:
In your eyes you’re gaining, and while truth is to everyone else your not. You sound more physically out of it. I've known some bigger people that were really good runners. Anyways, start spacing out your meals, try 6-8 small meals as opposed to 2-3 large meals, this helps with food craving and burning calories better (it also helps shrink your stomach so you crave less, start partaking in physical activity weather you good of not, remember your not bad at it because your fat, your just out of shape, and most importantly don't starve yourself or skip meals its not at all good for you! Eat healthier and take a multi vitamin and tell yourself your not fat, your good just the way you are, really! All those will but you on the path to a better self image and healthier you!

If everyone tells you you are not overweight, I'd assume you aren't. Who says running is the only form of excercise? Go WALKING or bike riding, or join a sport. And dont NOT help yourself to food. If you're hungry, eat, but make sure what your eating is healthy.
