advice
So I checked my BMI and I am on the high end of Normal.
All of my friends are fairly small, but all they eat it fast food!
Im not as small, so I have gained a lot of weight this summer.
I need to loose this weight before school because I could be at risk of becomming over weight.
Does anyone know of any quick and healthy ways to take weight off and keep it off?
Thanks!
If you can, try to put all of the unhealthy food in your home somewhere where you can't see it. You probably can't get rid of it because of the other people in your house, so just put it somewhere else so you won't be tempted to eat it. Second, I would really recommend you eat whole grains, like whole grain bread and pasta, istead of the refined white stuff. If you dont already it will probably taste really bad at first but you'll get used to it. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies when you're hungry. This way, you're not really on a strict "diet", you're just eating healthy. Finally, just try to be more active. I always tried to get up early and go jogging or walking, but my stamina isn't so great and I could never get myself up. Then I found this really good exercise video with Jillian Michaels (http://www.amazon.com/Jillian-Michaels-30-Day-Shred/dp/B00127RAJY/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216241832&sr=8-1) and I do the medium workout, and sometimes the easy one too, about every day or every other day. It gives you a good workout without killing you and you actually feel good when you're done. I lost a lot of weight after eating healthy and especially after i added this dvd workout to my daily routine.
Hope I helped and good luck!

My anus hole is really itchy... is that normal what should I do about it??
Well, if you've changed the kind of toilet paper you have used lately, it could be causing an allergic reaction. Or there could be some type of food that irriates it when it's expelled.
You could also have something thats called a hemorrhoid. They're supposed to be veins in your rectum area that are swelling, and they can be veryyyyy painful. I know because i've had one before, and they made my butt itch like CRAZY!!! Unless you feel a lot of pain in a specific area, you probably don't have one...but if you see/feel something strange, you should see a doctor.
Yeah, that preparation h stuff could work. If you go to the grocery store they also might have some specific wipes or creams you can use.And just in case it's like some type of bacteria thats making it itch, you MIGHT want to try using something like baby wipes to keep that area clean(haha, i kno thats weird lol but they really helped me). If none of this works and it keeps itching in the future, i would suggest seeing a doctor.
Hope this helped!

My yellow lab is a year old and seems to be agressive to new people who come to the house. She looks out the window at people or other dogs who walk by and growls and barks with hair raised on her back.
She has also tore up two expensive throw rugs within a week. We are not home at the time. We have to keep putting her back in her kennel when we leave.
I had a chocolate lab before and she was nothing like our yellow lab.
I have twin daughters, six, I'm afraid she might bite someone one day. She loves the girls but too agressive.
I have thought about giving her away.
I have a 3 year old yellow lab named Daisy who used to be the EXACT same way when she was around 1. (and in a few ways still does). When my family ever left our home we would just leave Daisy to rome around the house. It seemed like EVERY TIME we came back, SOMETHING would be chewed up (especially things like baskets and towels.) We started putting her into a kennel/cage whenever we left the house and we did that for about...2-3 months. Then we decided to let her out and see how she behaved and what do you know; she stopped chewing on things! It didn't take her long to realize that if she destroyed things around the house, she would be confined to her kennel. I believe the cause of your dog and my dog's chewing (and I think it's the same in all dogs) is they're anxious when they're alone and need something to do;labs don't like being alone too much. Just keep doing what you're doing with the kennel and eventually you're dog will stop the behavior. When you DO let her out, be sure she has plenty of chew toys to keep her occupied.
About the aggression...Daisy barks and growls at people she sees and hears through the door. She also HATES vets;whenever we take her to the vet she seems to want to "protect" me when the vet comes in. Sometimes dogs develop such a close relationship with you that they feel the need to protect you from other people. I don't know about your dog, but mine ends up LOVING people once they come in the door and she gets a good sniff of them (and maybe realizes they aren't going to harm me.)Maybe you should experiment and keep your dog on a leash when people come in and see if she still acts aggressive.
Maybe you should buy a few books on labs. They will give you all the information you need about the breed.
If all else fails and your dog continues to show signs of aggression (or it gets worse) you should consider giving her away. I know it's sad, but you don't want to risk one of your children getting hurt.
Hope I helped! Tell me how it goes!

i have a kitten. i have had her for about...9 days. she is 7 weeks old. whenever i put her down and leave the room. she starts freaking out. like running around and meowing like crazy. when i go back in a pick her up, she falls asleep, starts purrring and calms down. can anyone give me any advice on what to do??
Your kitten probably misses its mother...Imagine how you would feel (and what you would do) if you were taken from your mom/dad at a very, very young age and had to live with a total stranger. You would probably be scared. I think for the first month you need to try and spend as much time with your kitten as possible; let it sleep in your room, let it stay with you while you watch tv. You might want to get a heated blanket for it to sleep with (see link below)...the kitten is used to sleeping close to its mother and being warm; that's probably why it falls asleep in your arms. You could even use a hot water bottle and cover it with a blanket or two.

What is the best version of DDR for PS2. I'm thinking about getting DDR Max 2, so is it any good? I know it's an older version but I don't care if it's old or new, I just want a good version. Help?
I am a BIG fan of DDR. I own a metal pad and everything. I have DDR1 and DDR max 2. Personally, I like DDR2, so it's really good to answer your question. I don't like DDR1 too much...the songs aren't that great. DDR2 is a lot nicer...If I were you I'd get that one.

We are moving this summer and my parents told me I could get a dog. I want a small dog that I can carry around with me everywhere. I've thought about getting a bichon frise for quite some time, but I found out that they can get fairly big sometimes. Any ideas on some small, full bred dogs I could get? And some of the positives and negatives about them?
here's a few...
Yorkshire Terrier: PROS-very loyal. loves to be in a social household. doesn't require much exercise. CONS-grows long coat that needs to be groomed often. doesn't get along with children. prfers to live in a household with adults.
Cocker Spaniel: PROS-very affectionate. Has a willingness to learn and is very intelligent. Gets along with other dogs and children. CONS-can be difficult to house-train. Seems to bark and be louder than other dog breeds.
Shih-Tzu: PROS-has a happy, outgoing, and affectionate temperament. good with kids. bonds with every memer of the family, making it a great companion. grooming and exercise needs are minimal. CONS-also can be difficult to housebreak. tend to weeze and snore. can be stubborn and clever;likes to outsmart its owner.
Pomeranian: PROS-very affectionate dogs. eager for basic training. lively, outgoing, and alert. CONS-tends to act unfriendly towards other dogs. grooming needs are high. can act very cocky.
Chihuahua: PROS-very intelligent and learns quickly. intensely loyal and strong willed. loves affection and is extremely active. CONS-becomes VERY attached to its owner, therefore behaving aggresive towards other people. often snaps and children with its sharp teeth. doesn't like other dogs and demands attention and affetion from their owners. can be very noisy sometimes and difficult to housebreak.
These are only a FEW of all the small dog breeds out there, but these are the ones I like the most although the chihuahua isn't one i favor. Hope this helps you!

OK.. so i heard that having diarrhea means that something is realllly wrong with your digestive system.. is this true?.. because i havent had a normal poop for a while... ive had diarrhea for weeks...
HELP!
okay. here's a site i found that might help:
http://www.kidshealth.org/parent/infections/common/diarrhea.html
usually diarrhea only lasts a few days. if it lasts for more than 2 weeks, you can become severly dehydrated. I would suggest you go see a doctor if it continues; there are some medications like Pepto-bismol that you might want to try...it can ease your discomfort and maybe stop the diarehea. You DEFINITELY need to see your doctor if you have fever or notice blood in the stool.

do boys mind if a girl is a little over wieght.. like a little bit of a pot belly?
and would it be a reason for them not to ask her out?
It's a sad fact that most boys WILL judge you by how you look...mostly by your body size. If a boy can't see past looks then he's not worth it and he WON'T make a good boyfriend...you don't want to be with those kind of guys anyway. They'll only pressure you into "trying to look thinner/prettier/etc." If you're patient the right guy will come along and he won't judge you by your appearance; he'll know you're a really nice person and THAT'S the kind of guy you want.

Whenever I drink soda, (I only drink diet), when I swallow it after the first few sips, it burns my stomach really bad. What's wrong??
In my opinion, you should stop drinking soda;it's obvious your body is telling you that it isn't taking it too well...you should also tell your mom/dad/guardian about the problem and see a doctor. There are plenty of other things you can drink like juice, koolaide and water.

okay im overweight and i really need to start losing weight. i mean i look at my self and i am definetly not happy for letting myself get out of shape. so i know a lot of exercises i can do but what i need help from you guys is with the foods. what are some good foods for losing weight. ya know like foods i can eat and arent bad for you. please help and i will rate. thank you!
I understand what you're going through; I used to be overweight myself. My advice would be to try and stay away from foods high in carbohydrates (most grains like bread and pasta)Things like meat and cheese and things high in protien are very good since they keep you from being hungry all the time. If you want to, you can keep a "food diary" and you count up how many carbs and calories you ate for the day;try not to go over 1,500 calories and 150 carbs (Get to know and read nutrition labels). I know this sounds really hard, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. Only eat sweets on special occasions and TRY to get at least 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 times a week. Trust me... if it worked for me it can work for you
! ;)
