it depends on a few things. if you constantly have it hanging out of your shirt showing it off with this huge ring, then yes, it could come off as trashy.
but if you only show it like when you have your bathing suit on or things like that, then no, i think that they are fine. i have mine done and i really like it. i think it's cute! :)

Basically every girl in my grade including my best friends have had sex they also have boyfriends. I am really independent and mature for my age and dont feel the need for a boyfriend whatsoever. However I do want one as of right now but I am really picky. I'm not going to date someone who I dont even like but I do realize that the perfect guy isnt going to fall into my lap. But anyway I do sort of feel like the odd one out since im a virgin compared to everyone else. My bestfriends always have their boyfriends and have sex. On one hand I am perfectly fine with waiting for the right one but on the other hand I do feel left out. I dont know...any advice or personal experience is greatly apprpeciated :) (link)

You said that you are really picky. I personally think that is a great thing! cause i'm the same way. all my friends would have boyfriends and just date boys just so they could "fit in" And just like you, for my age i was a lot more mature and didn't see a point to this. You just don't want to settle for anyone just to say you have a boyfriend.
You just have to realize that you are not alone whatsoever. yes, in your group you might feel a little out of the loop but your time will come when you find the right guy. your only 16 years old you have your whole life in front of you. and believe me, you will meet sooo many people in the next few years. In the meantime, just have fun and don't get down on not having a boyfriend. you sound like you have a great head on your shoulders and that is something great to have at your age!! hope this helped :)

Me and this guy have been talking and hanging out and im pretty sure he likes me because he kissed me etc. But he always texts me saying "hey whats up" etc but like he talks a little bit then he just kinda doesn't say much and i have to keep the convo going.Like I will type a whole paragraph and he will say " haha oh nice : )" or something similiar and i usually just dont respond and then he will text me later and the same thing will happen.Why do guys do this?! most guys do this. even if they are into someone. for some reason they just don't like to have a full conversation over texting. i think they would actually perfer to talk to a girl or anyone face to face rather than typing a huge long text. so i wouldn't worry about it too much girl!

if his opinion matter a lot to you then maybe you should rethink about getting it done. yes, it is your body and you should be able to do whatever you want with it, and i think this is exactly why your boyfriend told you to do whatever you want. he didn't want to sound like he was too controlling. maybe just take a little more time to think if it's really something you wanna get done.

I've been trying to get pregnant for the past two weeks. I'm really bloated, really moody, and I also eat and drink a lot. Although I took a pregnancy test a couple days ago and it came up negative.....Could I have taken the test to early? (link)

you may have taken it too early. usually most pregnancy test are to be used after your first missed period. so i'd wait till then and then take another test

i want to start tanning again but my eye lids always get really white, is there any way to tan so this doesnt happen? or should i just get like brozer or something?

i know what i do when i tan is i will wear my tanning goggles for most of the time and then when there is like three to four mins left i will take my goggles off and just keep my eyes closed. i know you aren't suppose to do this but it gives my eyelids a little color and then i just use a little bronzer to blend with the rest of my face.

i use to feel like this sometimes too. especially when all my friends would have boyfriends. but first off, you're only 17 girl. in the next few years you will meet soooo many people and you will find that one guy that you feel totally comfortable with and wants to be with you.so don't get too down on yourself, i know at times it's frustrating but you will eventually find that special someome. i promise.until then just try and have fun and not let it get to you!

i really like this boy and i've like him for quite abit now but my bestfriend likes him also. it hurts me too think that i could break her heart by getting with him or even just kissing him :( iv known him alot longer than my friend but if i choose him then im scared i wont have a future with my friend but if i cdo stick by my friend then i wont have a future with the lad :(

first thing is first. if your friend doesn't already know that you like him, tell her. let her know how you feel about the whole situation. if you want my opinion though, friends are always before boyfriends. boyfriends come and go and for all you know this guy could date you for only a few weeks and wanna be done. and i know it's hard cause you probably really like him but just keep in mind of what you'll be loosing with your friend. just take some time and think about it. hope this helped!

Not actually 'with' this guy, we just hang out/ text and stuff, only when we do, it;s never really great or good conversation, it's mostly just physical stuff..He only really texts when he wants something, and seems uninterested, I'm not dumb, I'm thinking to ditch this guy.

you want to look natural but you can have a little fun with it. use black mascara and put it on your top lashes to bring out your eyes and you can even put it on lightly on your bottom lashes. then as far as eye shadow have some fun and use colors that you usually wouldn't use. Pick a color that will bring out the color of your eyes. or you could even go with the smoky look, that's always something that's fun and will go with just about any outfit!
foundation will put the look together. maybe use a foundation with some sparkle in it to make your face glow. that's what i use and i love it!

ok iwas datng a guy for almost a month after we had been talking and friends for like 3 months im 17 and hes 20 idc about age and he broke up with me and idk how to like get over it bc i know its weird but he was my first kiss and i started to really trust him and i found out later he let me for a 45 yr old :( so i don't know what to do im so hurt by what he did i trusted him and i thought we were starting to actually love each other. his excuse for the break up is that we were to different and it wouldn't last no matter how much we loved each other i just don't know what to do :( i tried talking to him like a week after he broke up with me and he said he needed sum space so i feel like all he wanted me for was sex and thank god i didn't im just so hurt by him . every girl has this one guy that they cant get over. he was your first love. in order to get over him it is going to take some time. But you have to think about all the good things you have in your life and it sounds like he wasnt the greatest guy around. they are going to be soo many more guys out there. your only 17, you have your whole life ahead of you to find someone. in the meantime just have fun and dont let this one guy get you down. i believe that everything happens for a reason...so maybe its better that things ended when they did cause who knows you could of gotten even more hurt that you are now. things will get better don't worry. hope this helped.
