There is not one columnist here, but two. We're both 16, female, and don't feel like giving out real names. so, we're just going by mizu and hikari. advice

I was wondering if anybody could help me make a site. I want one with a layout and pretty designs and stuff but I'm not sure how to do all that. It would be a quote site. I want to make it at geocities and then move it to cjb.net. Could any patient person show me how to do all this and help me through all the steps? I could show some sites as examples on what I want. Also, would anybody be able to make the layout for me? I would really appreciate all this help and I rate for the most helpful people =c). Thanks!

Love, RacheL

It seems like the other girl can help you with her tutorial, but she says she's not good with graphics. I make graphics though, if you're in need.

My sister and I used to go to the same middle school. She's only a year older then me. She's a 9th grader and she was planning on going to the same HS (high school) as everyone else that went to my middle school. All of a sudden she changed her mind and went somewhere else. I really wanna go where she's going cuz its a better school but i have THE BEST friends ever right now and im not prepared to leave them and i dont want them to be mad, but i think this school would really help me do what i always wanted HELP ME!! WHT SHULD I DO?

I think you should go to the better school. Friends come and go, and if they're as amazing as you say - your bonds will be enough to keep in touch. And you know what? it'd happen sooner or later anyway - after High School, you'd just be splitting up and going into different directions anyway. I know how you feel, In middle school I switched schools and left behind some really great friends. And even though we're not as close as we once were, we're still able to stop and chat if we see each other out, and sometimes give each other a call. It's not like you're losing them completely, you're just making the best decision that will help you achieve your goals. And in today's world, a good education is one of the most important things to have. So9 if this school is going to help you get into the occupation of your dreams, then go for it, because there's a lot ahead of you.

well my best friend and i have been friends for 3 years ok. we have been getting in fights once a week and its driving me crazy lets just say i have been seeing my councler alot for and one day i didnt talk to a single person. well we recently just got in a fight because i was walking with a friend that she doesnt like him at all. i tryed to talk to her but we just got in this big fight and she says she cant trust me because im friends with someone she doesnt like and right now i have alot of problems and when i try to explain to her wat my problem is she just compares it to her life. i dont know how to tell her how i feel with out her getting all mad and crap like that. so can u give me some ideas on how to talk to her. ooo and shes an only child. she can be self concided to if u couldnt tell already.

Look, if she's really your friend, she wouldn't care who your other friends are. Just because she doesn't like someone, doesn't mean you can't be his friend. From the looks of it, it sounds like she's bullying you, and giving you a hard time over something stupid. A real friend wouldn't be giving you such a hard time, and if she was really your friend - she'd want to try and make things better. You shouldn't have to fight with her every week, and you shouldn't have to worry about making her mad. If you go around for the rest of your life appeasing people, you'll only feel worse and worse. Stand up for yourself, tell her you can be friend with whoever you want and if she doesn't like it, that's her problem. And you should tell her straight out - if you want to be my friend, then stop giving me a hard time and let's try to work this out. If she can't handle that, then maybe you guys just shouldn't be as good of friends anymore. Don't let her get to you. I hope it all goes well.

Ok so I am 13 years old and I want to start babysitting. I'm not sure if there are laws on how old you have to be (I live in England.) Is 13 old enough? How would I go about it?

I live in the US, and I believe 13 is old enough in both countries (i don't think there really is a "legal age") - you may want to look online for local babysitting courses, and those usually say how old you have to be. And if you take a course you get a card saying you're certified and it's easier to get people to have you babysit because they'll feel more comfortable knowing you took a class.

Ok, I've had this really annoying virus for like 5 months now.It changed my password to my msn messenger and hotmail and now I can't get into them at all!!I can't even use my anti-virus because it disabled it.Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

If it's at all possible, use your search and search your computer for the system restore program and reset the settings for 5-6 months back and it should change those settings back and get rid of the virus. But if that doesn't work then yeah, you should probably wipe out the hard drive or take it to a professional because that sort of virus is probably going to be a pain in the ass.
