The birth control will keep you from getting pregnant, but condoms are the only way to prevent STDs. Unless you know 100% that your partner doesn't have anything you don't want to catch, then I suggest using a condom. Also, birth control isn't a 100% effective, and neither are condoms, but when used together, the chance of getting pregnant is very very small, smaller than either one by itself.

My boyfriend and I just had sex for the first time..He took my virginity. It was unprotected and Im not sure if he pulled out or not. We were both a little drunk. I dont regret it. Anyway, I was told that you shouldn't have unprotected sex for 15 days after your last period ended. Its only been 10 days. Im a little worried that, well basically, I could become pregnant. Im not sure if the 15 day thing is true. Im going to the health clinic in a couple days to get on birth control and they always give you a pregnancy test. you can get pregnant anytime, even on your period. If you're not pregnant this time, be greatful and buy some protection. If your not responsible enough to be a parent, then maybe you should't be having sex at all.

I am a 16 year old male and i have had at least three girlfriends in my life. I want to continue and have a normal highschool experience. however, i am homosexual and my feelings for girls dont ever go beyond platonic. i am afriad to come out because everyone i know is severly homophobic and i owuld have no friends left if i told. yet i feel like i am not myself. how can i find a happy medium? This must be very tough for you, and I am sorry. Is there a club like GSA (gay straight alliance) at your school? If so, you can join and find other people with similar situations, and see how they deal. If you do decide to come out, first do it to a close friend or family member and see how they react. Make sure it is someone that you can trust. It's a shame that everyone you know is homophobic. I can not explain these people's behavior, I have often tried but nothing comes to me. I think that if you think that you have a chance with this girl then you should fight for her. Boyfriends aren't forever, she'l break up with this guy eventually. If you find that your feelings are faltering, then I would look to someone else. But if you really trust ur brother's opinion, you might want to take it into consideration.

This is kind of ironic, cuz my exbf pulled the same stunt on me last night...even though I'm going out with his best friend. I thought the way he did it was pretty good, so I'll pass it along to you... he asked me if I forgave him would I ever give him a second chance, but he wasn't asking me out. This made me think about it and I told him I'd give him a second chance when my relationship with my current bf is over. It worked for him, so I hope it works for you!

I just turned 14. I'm about 5'5 and weigh about 105 lbs. I feel I am fat for some reason even though I wear extra smalls and zero's in clothing and everything. Everyone thinks I am very tiny but I don't see myself that way. Because I feel I am fat I try to do 200 crunches a day along with running for about a half hour. Is there anything else I can do to loose weight and just tone up more? I also don't eat much. Like for maybe a couple days a month I'll eat like breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But all the rest of the time I usually only eat a small breakfast and that's it. Am I over doing the whole weight loss thing? Everyone has been yelling at me and saying I am overdoing it and I really want to know if I am. Please help and answer. Is my weight ok for my height and age? I both cheerlead and run track and want to make sure I am skinny cause for some reason I feel people won't like me otherwise. Can someone please give me some advise and help on the situation? You're weight is fine for your height and age. I wouldn't worry about looking fat, especially if everyone says that you're not. You also cheerlead and run, so what you think is fat may be muscle. (muscle weighs more than fat) You should eat more on a regular basis...(regular meals help to increase ur metabolism and burn fat faster. If the people that you want to like you only like you based on your looks, thats not a very good group of friends. Good friends like a person for who they are, not what they look like or what they wear. If you can learn to love yourself for who you are, you will gain self confidence and that is a very attractive quality. Hope I helped! - runawaygirl

I felt that way for a long time, I wanted a bf so bad that I became desperate and went out with the first guy that would have me. This turned out to be a miserable relationship, but when I ended it, I still wanted a bf. I went out with 2 more guys right afterward, and it wasn't until after the last one that I realized that I did'nt need a guy to be happy. My 2 best friends both got boyfriends and I started to feel left out, but I kept telling myself that my prince would come. I waited, and now I'm with a guy that I really like and that likes me. There are 2 morals to this story. 1. You have to learn to love yourself and to love being single (you aren't tied down!) 2. The number one thing that guys are attracted to is confidence. If you learn to love yourself and stop caring what people think, you will appear more attractive, and therefore, get a bf!

Dlildos and sex toys are perfectly safe, though many people prefer to put a condom on them so they know that they are sanitized. You may give head to guy with a condom, and there are many flavored ones designed specifically for this purpose. There are many female condoms on the market, as well as other kinds of birth control, such as the sponge, diaphrams, shots, pills and implants (small devices in your upper arm that last up to 5 years) The only one effective against STDs, however, is the condom, I recomend the Trojan brand.

I think that you should try to talk to this girl and get to know her better. Talk about things that she's interested in, or that you share an interest in.
