coming out
I am a 16 year old male and i have had at least three girlfriends in my life. I want to continue and have a normal highschool experience. however, i am homosexual and my feelings for girls dont ever go beyond platonic. i am afriad to come out because everyone i know is severly homophobic and i owuld have no friends left if i told. yet i feel like i am not myself. how can i find a happy medium?

This must be very tough for you, and I am sorry. Is there a club like GSA (gay straight alliance) at your school? If so, you can join and find other people with similar situations, and see how they deal. If you do decide to come out, first do it to a close friend or family member and see how they react. Make sure it is someone that you can trust. It's a shame that everyone you know is homophobic. I can not explain these people's behavior, I have often tried but nothing comes to me.
