Q: I know that my boyfriend is going to officially propose to me (19/f) sometime soon. He told me he bought a ring and that he's waiting for the right time to give it to me. I'm okay with the fact that he told me, I'm actually pretty glad about it. You see girls in the movies all the time that are pressured into going along with engagement. I think it was really respectful of him to talk about it with me, it's just that I'm not quite sure how to act when the time comes. Obviously I'll be happy, but since I'm probably not going to be surprised should I sort of pretend to be? I tend to show very little emotion and I think it might hurt his feelings if I don't appear to be happy or surprised or SOMETHING. I want it to be really special. Can anybody help me out here?

You can act surprised if you want, but I think he might know you are faking. YOu can show your happiness, but don't go to overboard. He knows that he already talked to you, so if yoiu are really fake, I think he'll know. I would be happy if I were you though. Congratulations. Good luck.

Well you should tell your boyfriend because it could be dangerous if you don't. He deserves to know and you should give him that right. Well depending on what desease you have, youu might want to think twice before having sex with him, otr anyone. Try to get the group together and have a little chat. Talk to them like some other people said and if you all feel you need some space then try to start hangign out with some other people. If not then just try to see whatthe problem is or try to locate the problem. Hope I helped. GOOD LUCK.

Q: whenever i do crunches on the floor, i always get bad headachs. does anyone know whyy? well anyways, so since i get headaches while doing then on the floor, i do the crunches on my bed. do you think theres a difference between doing crunches on the floor and the bed? its my only way of doing crunches because my head hruts whenever i do crunches on the floor pleasehelp!

Well, It's kind of like my tailbone issues. When I do situps o a hard floor or I do exercises where you have to keep your body upright while keeping your legs up too, my tailbone really starts to hurt. However, when I do them on a mat or a soft/softish flour, my tailbone feels fine. Maybe when you do crunches on the floor you put your head down to hard or you just have a woosy reaction from going all the way down to the floor with just your upper body or part of your upper body and then coming all the back up with just your upper body again or at least part of your upper body. I do not think that there is a differnce between doing crunches on the floor or on the bed. Only that a bed is a softer and more cushened surface. Hope I helped. GOOD LUCK.

Q: Recently this boy has been walking me to class with his arms around me. Everyone is starting to think that we go ouy but we don't. I tell him I don't want his hand around me but he still does it. Tell this boy that you know what he does behind your back, if you haven't told him already. Tell him that he should not be two faced and that he should listen to you and not put his arm around you and seem as if he likes you and then talk about you behind your back. Tell him that, doing that is a very jerky thing to do and you won't stand it anymore. If you think this will ruin your reputation, and you don't want to risk that, then just talk to him about why he does that stuff and make sure that he really talks about you behind your back. Q: 13/f..Me and my best friend are going to florida (Disney World) over spring break and we are SO excited but also nervous. Try to step out of your shyness for a while and just go for it. If you guys see any really hot guys, or guys you like, then try to act kool and be open minded. Maybe this trip is just the thing to make you relize that being shy is not good if you wnat to meet a guy. Ask why he thinks everyone is racist. I mean, if you care that much about him then you should tell him. Let him know how you feel so that maybe he'll relize that he still likes you too. And if not, then remember that there are plenty other hot guys out there be it black or white. Q: i usually straighten my hair evry morning, my hair is already pretty naturally straight with a little wave, but my hair is really thick and it is really hard to get straight, i use a really good straightenner, but my hair just wont straighten all the way, is there anything i can do or put in it to help it straighten more? ill rate you high

I think you should mousse and/or gel and/or hairspray your hair after you straighten it. That should keep it down. At least a little bit better. If it does not help then try other straighteners to see if they do work better. I hope I helped. GOOD LUCK.

Invite as many friend as you can for an all night get together. tell her you are going out to the mvies for her B-day. then go do stuuf all night until the sun comes up. You will be having so much fun that none of you will even notic ehow tired you are or that you are staying out all night. Only do this though if it is ok with all of the parents. If I had a friebd that told all my secrets especially really private ones like cutting myself, then I would not want to be her friend anymore. Talk to her and tell her you don't want your secrets told to other people. That is why it is called a secret. Then ask her why she is telling people your secrets. If she has a good reason then listen to her. If she does not have a good reason then just blow her off and be like" I don't want to be friends with someone who I can't trust." If she believed them on the spot and did not even give you a chance to explain, then she is not really your friend. However, if you are really worried about it and shes that close to you then you should try to talk to her. Let her blow off some steam and then try to explain everything. Hope I helped.

Don't worry about age difference. It is not that big of a deal. 2 years is o.k. especially when you are in high school. If you are that self- concious about it then don't ask him out or date him. However, if you really like him then you should go for it. Hope I helped.

Q: Hi, I'm a 17 year old fmale and I'm trying to lose weight. I'm not overweight officially, I'm a size 12 (UK), but I do look really chunky next to my friends who are all like size 8/10. I've been dieting really hard for a fortnight and I walk 2 miles once and sometimes twice a day and do sit-ups every day but it's not working at all! I don't feel any better, no-one has commented and my clothes all fit the same. If it's really not having any effect then should I stick at it or try something more drastic? It's just I'm hungry all the time as it is and I'm always going faint or dizzy between meals so I'm not sure I'm eating enough anyway. Help me!! xxx

I think you should stop worrying and try to just be yourself, but if you really feel that bad then you should see a nutritionist or try a variation of diets until you find one that works for you. My sisters went through the same type of thing. Now, they still go back and forth between diets but they are more set and find that the diets they are on are really helping. Those specific diets are keeping my sisters from feeling like they need food all the time. Also you should keep excercising. That is really good for you. Hope I helped. GOOD LUCK.
