About two months ago, my boyfriend of 8 months bought me a beautiful diamond promise ring and about a week ago, I lost it... I just woke up one morning and found it missing from my finger. I searched my entire house, top to bottom. I even rented a metal detector to try and find it. I feel terrible about losing it. I know it must have cost him a fortune. I haven't told him that I've lost it yet. He just noticed I wasn't wearing it yesterday and asked me where it was. I didn't know how to tell him so I said I was cleaning it. My question for you guys is: how should I go about telling him that I lost it? I know he'll be upset with me no matter how I word it but any advice/suggestions would be helpful. (link)

I know how you feel. One night I slept in my boyfriend's class ring and the next morning, I couldn't find it. I searched EVERYWHERE for it, and fessed up a few days later. I told him I would make up for it by paying him to money back.. all $750 of it. So as I was saving money and I got to around $400, I found it under my bed. Not only was insanely happy I found it, but I thought I hit the jackpot with an extra $400!
So, my advice is to tell him about it, if he loves you enough to promise you, then he loves you enough to forgive you for loosing it. Just keep an eye out, it's bound to show up somewhere, unless the dog ate it or something =D

im the skinniest one on the team so they made me b flyer. lol i kinda like it but i get really nervous when we make a pyramid or i have to do a dismount. i get shaky too and i feel like im goin to fall. what should i do to relax for a big move.. haha thanx! (link)

Assuming that you are talking about cheering, just practice, practice, practice. After you fly for a while, it becomes a habit and no more dangerous that doing a roundoff. I beleive its called muscle memory.
Also, concentrate. Don't think about the crowd, being nervous, just count, concentrate, and smile.
What else do you fly in? I am a base for my squad, but once I had to fly a full and was nervous just like you are =D Leave on in my inbox!
Hope I helped, Serena.

*sigh* This reminds me of the time my sister washed her hampster. I really have no idea if they need to be washed or anything, but please, whatever you do, do not put it into the dryer or microwave or anything to dry it. It would be a very very sad day :\

my macaw is really big and she's not the nicest bird in the world..she wont let any one but my sister touch her...she's gettin used to me but she still goes after my fingers once in a while,
just the other she bit me..its really bad but i dont want to tell my mom bc she'll tell me not ot touch the bird...but i cant not play wit her(i luv my bird)
ps dont laugh im serious...i'll rate u (link)

Ahh, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have a green-winged macaw, but he will not let anyone go near it except for my stepfather.
This may sound really stupid, I'm sure it does, but there may be a way to play with it without actually touching it. Try to teach it words or tricks through the cage. It may warm up to you sooner or later.
In the meantime, if the bite is bad enough, it may get infected. Maybe show an adult you know and trust (Aunt, Grandma, Older Cousin) that can look at it, if you are scared to tell your mom.

i'm 13 yrs old, 5ft 7in and 140lbs. i wanna lose weight but not to much. during the skul year i don't way as much because of the sprts and conditioning I do. i don't wanna way that much when skul starts. any ideas how to lose a couple pounds in a few weeks? thanx (link)

Well, if you are looking to loose weight, I'm not sure why I'm answering this question. but.. if you want to look fit, be fit, be healthy, look better in clothes, etc...
RUN.. like crazy. Just run, run, run. Outdoors burns more calories than indoor treadmill running. (im not sure why.. but it does somehow).
Running for me is also like a mind thing. It gives me time to myself and to unwind. Some people find running very strenous, but you set your own pace, how long you want to, what you want to run on (sidewalk, gym, track, grass). It's like the overall excersize. It builds muscle though, and muscle, like they say, weighs more than fat. Hope this helps!
