I really need to know how to repel mosquitoes from myself. I heard there were some natural ways involving some sort of vitamins or garlic but I am not exactly sure what the correct information is.
My mom said they made some stuff to spray on you that repels bugs but I don't know what it is called or anything.
Can someone help me? These bugs are eating me alive already and I don't want to get West Nile Virus!!! How do I protect myself from the West Nile Virus when these mosquitoes don't stop biting?! (link)

Skin So Soft by Avon is the best one by far. My mom and I used to go camping a lot and she reacts badly to bites so she always uses this one and it's very effective. It also smells quite nice, unlike most bug repellents =]

ok so i wasnt on my period before all this happen ive had multiple little periods this whole month of may because i was on birthcontrol so a couple days ago i was like i dont want to be on it any more im done i hate HATE having my period and im not having it anymore so i got off it after a while month of being on it so it was two days i havnt been on it and i had sex with my boyfriend with a condom!!!! so ya im good. but hey right before he comes we hear a snap ya and then he cumed oh ya right after the snap now we are the people who go people who say condoms break are a load of bull we use a certain kind all the time but he was out so we used his friends where he got at a local clinic and there crap becuase we always like stretch condoms and they NEVER break like so when it broke we were like oh my god no it didnt we laughed actually i cant beleive it broke and i just JUST got off the birthcontrol now we tried getting the abortion pilll but mind you its a friday like 5 and planed parenthood was free but by the time we got there it was closed and they are closed on weekends so great we are trying to get the pill on monday hopingly. but any way later that night i started bleeding and it just ended now he might have knicked something but it could be because i just got off the pill idont know but i was just wondering if theres a chance of me still getting prego. any thing will help just answer!!!!! I'd say totally ignore when you have your period, this does not mean that you're not pregnant.
There's a chance that you will still be protected by the pill but you need the emergency contraceptive pill deffos. You can just go buy it at a pharmacy don't wait till the clinics open back up.
You need to take it within 72 hours remember and it's monday now obviously so unless you've taken it by now there's a pretty big chance you're pregnant. Take a preganancy test asap. Poor you btw, if you just stayed on the pill after the 1st month all the multiple periods stop and then it's pretty good.

There's this girl... I met her at a party a long time ago and we instantly clicked (I never thought that could happen before then!). I mean instantly! Like within an hour she was really flirting with me, and i was really starting to like her back.
However, due to some bad judgment and choices, I waited to long to tell her I liked her (and officially hear she liked me back) and nothing happened. About a week or two later, she messaged me on myspace (due to some provocation) and we addressed it. I told her how i felt. She said she was "kinda" unavailable. That was a Wednesday. Come Friday, she was fully unavailable with her new bf. And get this, I still never fully got to know if she liked me...
well... a couple weeks later, her new relationship was over (as high school will have it). We still talk and stuff, and we can be pretty casual and friendly with eachother, but i really don't know what's going on.
I can't get her out of my head either! I lie and lie to myself that its over and I'm done with it but I'm really not! She is just so amazing and to think I got so close!
We were both at a party tonight, and I over heard somethings that might have indicated I have a chance, but i don't know. Help? Any experience with this kind of stuff? Btw, 15,M (link)

The advice you received from Darby sounds really good so think about that.
I'd say she does like you based on everything you've said, I've been in a similar situation where I was this girl you're talking about and I think the best thing to do is ask her out, just casually to hang out.
If she says yes then you get to spend more time together and you'll find out if she likes you. This could also lead you into a situation that you could ask her to go out with you, if she seems to like you enough.

So theres this boy i've been off and on with having a crush this whole year. We went to one school dance together and it was amazing and we'd both probably agree it was the best dance together of the year. He's been through alot this year and i've always been there for him and he appreciates it alot. He feels as if i'm the only one he can talk to about anything and were just really close in some aspects. We text just about everyday about anything and everything and we talk at our lockers every hour.
He told one of my friends he really wanted to "get to know me more" after the dance. and now that were getting closer and all where does this lead to?

I've just started taking TriNessa and I'm still getting used to taking it at exactly 9:00 every night. I've been on it for about 10 days now and a few of those nights I would forget to take it at exactly 9:00, but I would remember around 9:15 or 9:30. Will it still be effective if I take it just 15-30 minutes late. (I obviously will try to take it at exactly 9.)

my boyfriend and i were having sex friday night night (around 4 am) and we had sex about about an hour before we went for a second round. so, we were having sex for the second time. it was lasting 1000x longer then he usually does (probably because he cummed in the last hour). we were having sex. and i felt the condom break. so he thrusted ONCE. Difinately get the morning after pill it can work up to 72hours after you had sex, cause no-one can say for sure if you will be pregnant or not just by reading that so it's best to be safe rather than ending up with a baby.

I met this really nice guy (lets call him warren) almost 5 days ago. We met at a bowling alley and I actually kinda liked his friend (Luke)- however when I found out that I was 4 years older than Luke, I knew that wouldnt ever happen because it would be illegal because he was 14 and im 18... so thats a negative. Well, Warren, Luke's friend, ended up letting me stay at his house for the night because it was too late for me to get back to my house. Warren hit on me, and then we started kissing, and well, one thing led to another. THEN, after that happened we were just talking and I found out he is my best friends cousin. I told her about me and warren hanging out and when i did she was like "Please tell me you arent messing with him." I told her i wasnt, but that i was becoming pretty close to him (which is true). I dont know what it is about him though. We are complete opposites. Im more of a voluptous girl, while he is skinny, im in high school, he is graduated, he is country, and I am proper. However the connection we have is hard to ignore; physically and emotionally. He said to me, "I bet you $100.00 that you will fall in love with me." and of course I denied it. I cant tell if by saying that he is wanting to start dating me or not. But based on the situation do you think that I should pursue the relationship or let it diminish? I just wanted an honest opinion.

Firstly find out why your best friend said "Please tell me you arent messing with him" mayby she knows something you don't. However, I don't see a problem with you guyes being totally different, y'know what they say opposites attract.
If you feel like you have an emotinal and physical connecion with this guy I think you should go for it, even if it does end in tears you could have an amazing relationship and it may last.
Also judging by him saying "I bet you $100.00 that you will fall in love with me." I think he really likes you and wants you to fall in love, and be in a relationship with him. I hope I helped even a little. Good Luck!!! :)

16/F. I just got together with my boyfriend yesterday. We've been off and on for years, though it seems dumb considering we're so young. Anyway, my last boyfriend and I broke up like a month and a half ago. Current boyfriend and his ex broke up about two weeks ago.
We hung out yesterday and he's so excited about us being together. I am too. The only thing that makes me feel a little uncomfortable is that he wanted to do a ton of kissing and stuff (he wasn't pressuring me into anything). I think he's used to being so far with his ex, that he's just kind of picking that stuff up with me. Is it normal for me to feel weird? That, and I think I'm making myself feel weird somehow. Usually I'm very aggressive with that stuff, but I was very shy, while he wasn't. Like, obviously we're not in love yet, but is that okay that I need time? I know it takes time, I guess I'm just used to my ex a little, too.
Maybe this is adding to my situation too.. We have to be secret for like, another week. Considering he and his girlfriend just broke up, it'd look a little bad if we got together right away. So having to sneak around might be changing my outlook, too.
I really want this to be perfect for us. Just trying to figure out how to go about with starting that :P

I think it's fine for you to need a little time if he's getting a bit ahead of himself, just let him know that you want to take it slow. He should be fine with it.
And you shouldn't feel that you have to be secretive about your relationship even if he did break up with this girl 2 weeks ago, it's not like they're still dating.

hey I'm from scotland so I get the whole cultural thing, personally I think 17 is a little too old for a 14 yo girl, but this is just my opinion and ultimately it's up to you.
I'd say you're definately going about it the right way though. From what you've said it sounds like she does like you, but it doesn't hurt to get someone to mention that you like her before you ask her out.
