i want to go to Wake Forest university but i don't have good enough grades to get or the gpa level yet, i am only a sopohomore but i still want to get in, i do have another choice of UNCW whitchis a good college. should i work harder to get into wake forest or just settle for uncw? (link)

well im 14 and my parents got divorced a few years ago and my dad married this person i hate! she is seriously like the wicked step mother and it blows. She always talks bad about my mom too and my mom is the sweetest person in the world. How can i tell her to shut the hell up without getting grounded forever. help! P.S. sorry its so long! (link)

try talking to your dad about your step mom, and tell him that it really bothers you that she talks bad about your mom. she shouldn't disrespect your mom like that and tell your dad that. I hope everything gets better

so theres these kids, theyre my really good friends, && they know im REALLY concious about my weight, && one day i walked in on thier convo && they were like, "i" really put on the weight && looked like i was a big round ball. i really hate getting called fat, but i think my weight is a little more than normal, but i just dont know where to see if its normal or very heavy...im 5'5, && i weigh 109lbs

if you are 5'5 and weigh 109lbs you are pretty darn skinny girl I'm 5'6 and weigh 130lbs! If your friends are calling you fat and stuff you need to drop them. They sound really mean and not very good people. You should have confidence in yourself and forget what stupid people say! Good Luck with all your problems

hey i work at a elementry school for community service and i was i met one of the secretary's nephews and we hung out for a week talkin while workin and stuff well this week he has camp and after that i think hes leaving but today (mon.) his aunt said that he told her to make sure she said hi to me for him and then when no one was around she told me that her nephew was quite "taken" by me what does that mean??? omg i like him a lot! i just wanna ask him out! okay well lets start from the beginning-this kid moved to town and i hung out with him cuz he lived across the st from my best friend..and we talked and laughed and joked and flirted and i told him i liked him but he said he was confused cuz he liked a girl from where he used to live but then he told me he would possibly go out with me in the future? do i believe that or is that something hes saying so he doesnt have to put me down and be mean and i jsut wanna ask him out but i dont want him to just be like no! what do i say to him to let him know that i like him a lot and i care for him and i wanna be his girlfriend!! well you have 2 options. you can wait for him to want to be with you or you can move on and find someone else. tell him how you feel and see what he says and if he rejects you then you don't need him. but just be honest and be yourself. Goodluck

Its Summer 2005 and I am a 13 year old girl entering 8th grade. I have hair that is a couple inches past my shoulder when its strait but its usaly wavy inless i straiten it which takes a max of 10 minutes. I have medium thicknes so that doesnt realy stop me from doing things with my hair. I usaly pull it half up and half down with a clip or pony tail, I almost never wear it down, or I will poll it all up becuase i have to for cheerleading ( I am a cheerleader if that helps any) I need somthing diffrent! School starts in 6 weeks and i want somthing diffrent that is nice. My hair looks best when i have half of it clipped up and half down if that helps any too? Could someone give me some pictures or ideas? That would be greatly apperiated!!!!
Maybe you guys could tell me what you like a girls hair most? Like what styles do you love? That would help also!

well, i would say to just get a little bit of bangs. they wouldn't be in your way for cheerleading but they would compliment your face and make it look like your hair has more style to it! Good Luck!

You should definitly tell someone about it. I know what you are going through about not trusting anyone. It's really hard to find someone that you can tell your secrets to. I think you did a brave thing by putting that on here, so you are just one step closer to getting help. You can talk to a friend, a parent or a school counselor. Just talk to someone, it will really help. Good luck with everything you do!

at uprock it costs $30, and you have to leave it in for 3 months until you can change it, and like any other piercing, you should always have jewelry in it!

ahhh ok, basically my boyfriend fingered me and afterwards i noticed he had a ringworm on his arm..jus above his elbow, quite bigg around 5-6cm ish. and im really worried i could get it..i didnt realise it was contagious till i go home and looked it up. i had a longg bath with dettol and my clothes i was wearin are in the wash. do you know anything i could do to prevent me actually getting it/to prevent it showing upp at all or anything i should take etc? plzzzzz help thnx xxx (link)

Go to the doctor as soon as possible. It will make sure that everything is ok and make you feel a lot better. And if you don't want your parents to find out go to a private clinic

Ok..I have reeeally curly hair. I want it to be straight but when I try to straighten it there are 2 problems:
1. It takes me 1 and a half to 2 hours to get it completely straight.
2. My hair only stays straight for a day or overnight..even if I just straightened it.
Are there any easier ways to make my hair straight and make it stay straight for a while?

You can always go to a salon and get a relaxer on your hair. That will make it easier to straighten and make it stay straight for longer. Good luck!@

I'm going to be a freshman this year when highschool starts and I was wondering if I could get help with a "new look", and I mean everything! I dress kind of preppy, but also sporty at the same time. I would like a more rocker//bohemian//preppy look all mixed in one. Is this possible? Everything from what(if) I should put something in my hair, all the way down to the shoes! ((no spandex or cowboy boots please!)) I'd also like a new look, I wear eyeliner and mascara everyday, any updates? Any good brand of eyeliner that doesnt smudge, wonderful foundation for beige skin, a "flirty" pink blush, and waterproof mascara would be awesome! If anyone could give me advice on a good first day of school outfit, that would be fantastic! Any websites, and stores that arent majorly exspensive. Well, I can give you a few stores to look into for the style you are looking for. Try Wet Seal, the catalog Alloy and Delias, and also try forever 21. For the make-up, the less expensive it is the better it is. Try liquid eye-liner and see how you like it. It may take you a while to get the line straight, but just work on it. For really good make-up try avon. They have a big selection and it is really cheap! I also suggest a lot of beaded jewelry. Esp. turquoise and red jewelry. I hope your first day is full of fashiony goodness!

you should ask your boyfriend about it and see what he says. if he says he doesn't then tell him it bothers you that he flirts with your friend. if he says he does like her then dump him! if he continues to flirt with her after you have said something then dump him.
