i know there alot of forgein exchange programs that bring kids to the u.s. from other countries. are there any that u.s kids can do to go to other countries? if so, where can i read about it? i've tried searching google, but i didnt find anything.

foreign exchange means the exchange a american kid for a foreign kid. so yeah you have to ask your school. maybe the counselor or principal.

if you get very forgetful. That means that the weed is killing you're memory cells in you're brian. that's the only thing i really know that tells you you're going to turn into a vegetable if you keep smokin. i kills you're brain cells.

hey i have wireless internet and internet explorer. I was wondering how to erase all my history? There isnt any like "file edit view" type things in the top of internet explorer, though. PLEASE help!

go to tools, then internet options, then look 4 browsing history and click delete. another box should pop up and click delete history. i have wireless internet also i know how to do it.

yall in coming freshman need to stop worrying and just go to school and be you. you will meet people and be just fine. Im going to be a junior this year so i should know about being a freshman. Movies just give you the wrong idea about HS. People just tell you those stories to scare you. Just go to school and don't act immature and be calm. hope this helps you some.

I'm a little nervous about what people say about high school. People say that high school is really a scary thing and that the older kids always pick on you. One of my older friends got molested at a high school party. (Problem Solved) Kids are always talking about the populars. I never had any problem with it in Middle Scool. And I really don't know what to expect ? Can anyone share expieriences and tell me the honest good and bad of high school ? (link)

don't believe that junk people r telling you. I'll b a junior this up coming year and no one picked on me when i was a freshman. Just don't act immature and people will probaly want to talk to u. when i was in 9th i didn't act immature and people thought i was a senior. just be your self but don't b to goofy if your on of those funny people. at my school there r alot of people that r freashman and friends with a lot of seniors and juniors. A lot of the freshman girls go with some junior and senior boys. its normal for everyone to basically know everyone in my school but i don't know about your school. Just don't worry about it. You will met people and have a great high school experience.

I'm starting highschool in august, and i dont know anyone or anything about the school. And I know this one girl who is a few years older than me and she goes to a diff highschool, but she said its like "uncool" to carry a backpack. She said she usually carries like a big messenger bag type thing. Is this true? And do i need a backpack on the first day? thanks. (link)

on the first day bring just a notebook. If you don't feel like carrying your notebook all day then get a nike bag. but if you hae AP and GT classes then you might want to be smart and carry a book bag.

kay i guess these are typical highschool questions but PLEASE answer them.
- what should I bring on the 1st day?
- Should I carry a backpack or a messenger bag type thing?
- Is it easy to find your classes? If not, any tips?
- On the 1st day we have lunch. Should I buy my lunch or bring it in a paper bag?
- Where should I sit at lunch cause I DONT KNOW ANYBODY!?
- I am taking a sort of remediate math. What are the people like in remediate classes? Are they all druggies and such?
- For the 1st sememster, are your classes the same, in the same order, every day?

OK first of all carry a Nike bag. Bring a notebook of course but a note book that you put pictures in the front so you can put your schedule so you can look at it right before you go to your next class. Don't be shy on the first day talk to people. Talk to the person next to you in all your classes but don't talk to much or you'll get in trouble. For english bring a pen english teachers hate pencils. when lunch comes just try to get to a table that is like half empty on the first day and sit on the empty part. A remediate class is a class with like extra help and the teachers explain things better. All semesters of high school are the same unless you have a class that is half your. Then you only take that class for two semesters. This should help becuase i'll be a junior this up coming year and i should know by now. Just don't have a book bag that looks like your hiking. First day carry a Nike bag. If you have textbooks that you have to carry everyday then get a bigger bookbag.

It is obvious that your father isn't going to let you have highlights in your hair. Take it from me I'm 16 and asked my mother if i could get highlights and she flipped out. Definitely don't do it behind his back or he will never trust you. The reason he won't let you get the highlights is because you told him everyone in school dyes their hair. He doesn't want to hear that because he wants you to be you. If you really wanted those highlights you shouldn't have told him that. Don't nag him cause then he might think about it if you stop talking about it.

so, me and this boy were like best friends,and then, he liked me or something, and i dont know, i basically rejected him. it was realllyyy bad. so we didnt talk anymore, and each passing day, makes me miss him more and more. and whenever i see him, hes always staring at me. always. like sometimes he'll try to sneak looks [this is what all my friends say] his friends are always looking at me. [but there not like laughing or anything, there just staring.] and sometimes he'll look me straight in the eye. and we'll be staring into eachothers eyes, which seems like forever. my one guy friend, said he thinks that he misses me, and he wants to talk to me, but hes embarrassed that i rejected him.

it is obvious you two like each other. You should definitely talk to him. Its hard to find out that your best friend likes you. Sometimes at first you may think you don't like him and soon as you rejected him you wanted him even more. That tells you that you have feelings for him you just never realized it. So you should talk to him or you might be losing someone you may need in the future.
