For the same reason I'm white and my boyfriend is brown...because if everyone was the same, whether it be inside or out, there'd be no point in living, there'd be no diversity, for some, no trial, no pride...if we were the same, life wouldn't be a journy but a really boring ride like Mr. Toad in Disneyland

I know there is something messed up in my head because i get angery, sad, and happy really quickly and when i am mad, i throw things. i hate the way i act and i have been trying to change, but nothing has been working. ive told my mom and sister this and they really havent done anything to help me. what should i do? It's okay... I agree with what someone else said...well, kinda. You may be bipolar, the rapid mood change indicates that but it's not that bad. There are things like depression (me) and bipolarity which are due to chemical imbalances. Sometimes you can fix it with regular workout, counseling, journal, etc but sometimes it's more severe and you may need medication. It's nothing to be embarrassed about or ashamed of...unfortunately it's just life. talk to your doctor and good luck, i feel for you.

dear advice giver,
I am 13 years old and I do not like my body. I am young for my grade and I am considered rather small in my grade. But what bothers me the most is that I have no breats. I can't even fit into a size A yet. All my friends have breasts but I am as flat as a cardboard. Consider this, I am a size 34 in sports bras but not the size A to go with it. My mom is a 34B and she says that she grew at a slow rate. Please help.

It is OKAY!!! I promise! I was the same way and now...going on DD. It sucks. Enjoy it for now, you don't need them. They get in the way, you always have stains on your shirt right there because whatever food doesn't make it in your mouth ends up on your boobs... don't worry. Let nature take it's path and you'll be 1000 times bigger and more gorgeous than anyone!

my parents get mad at me whenever i say something about religion that doesnt agree with their views. they tell me im to young to have an opinion about that kind of stuff. and i do. and im not that good at communicating. so should i just tell them that i believe in god? even though i have doubts?

No one is too young to have an opinion. Your opinion may change over the years, for better or for worse but either way you have a right to feel how you do. My best advice is to sit down and explain why you feel this way... maybe your grandparents or if there are close family friends, you can talk to them and ask them how to best go about talking to your parents...

my boyfriend is always pressuring me to have sex. i'm not a virgin, which i told him, but i dont think i am ready to have sex with him. i mean we have been going out for 4 months, but i really dont think i am ready for that kind of commitment. the last and first guy i had sex with was my first love we had known each other since we were 3. me and him are still friends and my boyfriend always gets jealous of me talkin to him. he also cussed me out various times in person and on the phone. i really dont know what to do about this and i KNOW i cant ask my mom cuz she would go and cuss him out. 17/f/ga (link)

Honey, I'm sorry to say it but... you just might want to reconsider his importance to you. There are two really good peices of advice I've heard from other people...the first is that just because you love someone doesn't mean it's right. Unfortunately...Love isn't eveything even though we'd all like it to be that easy and the second peice of information is that the person who cares the least has the most control in a relationship. Does he truly care about YOU if he's pressuring you all the time? sadly, I must say No. It's rough but I think you have some things to really consider. I think about how I want to be and the kind of life I want for my kids and then decide, based off of that, if this guy is going to help me or not.
