and what description should i tell my hairstylist about this haircut? (link)
I'm not sure what to call it...

But you can tell your stylist that the cut has medium shaggy razored bangs parted from the side and a longer shoulder length layered and shaggy razored cut in the back.

I have really bright, blue eyes. I was wonderin if anyone has any tips or knows of any websites that have makeup tips on how to really play them up, so they're really noticeable. (link)
I have blue eyes... and I was a really big fan of wearing bright blue/green/teal mascara. It really made them pop. Also, not wearing a ton of makeup will help, also. And I've heard that light green eyeshadow will make them stand out as well.

Hope that helped!

how do you walk with a bounce in your step??? (link)
It's probably the easiest to do when you can pretend to be extremely happy about something! If you're a good actor, just make believe that you won the lottery or that you're the coolest person around... and walk. Y'know... You just kind of take a little extra height to each step while seeming happy. It's a very subtle thing. :P Ya don't have to frolic or skip. Have confidence... but don't overdo it.

what are the famous songs of savage garden again? "truly madly deeply" "i knew i loved you" and what else..? (link)
And who can forget their first single "I Want You" (the chica cherry cola song)...

My computer mouse isn't working and I have no idea how to get it. Yes; it's plugged in, I'm not an idiot. It took me about 20 minutes just to figure out how to get the internet open and it takes forever using the keyboard to get everything to work. I've only ever had this problem once before and we realized the mouse wasn't even plugged in which is why I knew to look this time.

My dad says we'll probably have to get a new computer but because this is MY computer I'd have to pay for the new one. I'm the youngest and everyone else has laptops. I graduate in June and we were going to wait until then and my parents were going to get me a laptop for when I go to college but since they can't afford to buy one for me now I'd have to buy the laptop and all of the programs. My mom said she'd pay for half or a $350 maximum depending on the price I get. I'd really rather wait 5 more months so my parents can pay for it than have to buy one now.

My question is - if it seems that the only problem is my mouse not working could I just need a new mouse? My dad is really stubborn and he says we have to just get a new computer. I know that I can afford one myself because I have $4,000 in the bank but I'm paying for college myself and I don't want to have to waste any money on a laptop unless it's absolutely necessary.

Oh, and just so you know, I've already let the computer stay shut down for a while and I've just left it alone for a few hours. Obviously the computer is working just fine - it seems that the mouse is my only problem.

Can getting another mouse work? If so, how much should that cost?
Or should I listen to my dad and just by my own laptop and get it now?

I'm sorry for the length. Oh, and if it helps, we've have the computer for about four years now and we were planning on getting rid of it once I got my laptop (which was supposed to be in mid-June). Thanks in advance. =] (link)
Also, there are two different types of mice nowadays. There's the old PS2 connecting mice (that connect in the back of your computer near the speaker ports/etc.) and then there are USB mice which can plug into any USB port, if you have them...

If your PS2 port is not working then perhaps a USB connecting mouse might work? Or vice versa?

PS2 type looks like this: http://www.softwarexpress.co.uk/images/30321f.jpg

and USB looks like this:

I'm 16 and a junior in high school. And lately I have been really thinking about what school, and what job I want to do. I'm in a nursing class at my high school, but I only got in it because I wanted to be a physical therapist, but now I'm into the mental things. Like finding out why people have different personalities or why they kill people, things like that. If I become a nurse for that kind of things, what would I go to college for, and what would I do at my job. I would like to either care for the people, but still understand their disorder, or find out why people kill. Either one is good for me. THANKS! (link)
It definitely sounds like you need to explore the field of Sociology/Psychology. Do a general search on Google or something of the like and gear your search more towards academic training.

sorry if its a bit long.
A few moths ago i was sorta sad and anxious for some reason. At school on day i started staching any my left arem with my nails. When i got home that day i cut my arm with a blade.Every day for the next week i cut at my arm. After that week is tried to control myself and stopped even through some hard "cravings"(for lack of a better word).I got over it. Yesterday my friends mum called me inside for a chat and she told me that she saw manks on my arm and that she thinks i need professional help so that i dont do anything to myself.I had no intensions of cutting myself.tonight i felt the urge to do it again and i couldnt hold it off so i did it.
I dont want to kill myself i just like the pain. Also there is one of my other friend's mums who i trust alot but feel too ashamed to talk to about it.
Im not sure what to do.I dont know if ill get over it or i should talk to the friends mum that i trust.I dont want to tell my parents and i dont want to talk to the school counsellor or anything.
Even though i dont want to do anything to myself and im not suicidal im scared that maybe one day ill go too far.
Any input will help. But i dont want to hear "tell your parents" or anything.
Thanks (link)
Many people like yourself cut, scratch, or burn themselves to feel better when feeling anxious or depressed. The term for this is loosely called "self-injury". There are many websites online dealing with this topic and can offer stories, poems, help strategies, etc. I would definitely be concerned with this behaviour, though, as it can lead to bigger problems. It isn't a healthy thing to do... I suggest that you find another outlet that's not so destructive... Try journaling, art, or using icecubes against the skin to cause pain that leaves no marks, etc. Some people thwack themselves with rubber bands. The cutting/burning part of self injury is very bad for you and will definitely get attention. People will suggest that you go to a mental health professional (counselor, etc.) and they suggest that option because they care. No matter what you're going through remember that you aren't alone! I have been through what you are describing and I found myself addicted to cutting. I eventually grew out of it, but not without giving myself ugly scars. I will pray for you and send you positive energy! Hope this helped!

I'm a beginner at guitar and I wanted a small amplifier that has a reasonable price that I can practice with. My parents might be getting me one for Christmas and I know they aren't going to get me a huge expensive one so I wanted to know if anyone knew of some good ones for beginners so I can give them an idea.

Thanks! (link)
http://www.sweetwater.com/shop/guitars/guitar-amps/buying-guide.php

The above site is a buying guide for amps and it might be a bit much for your parents, but it is in depth.

------

http://guitar.about.com/cs/brandsofamps/a/buying_an_amp.htm

The above link is a much simpler version of a buying guide.

It depends on where you shop, etc.

And the above answer actually names an amp called the Crate V5.

Good luck!

So i read a website on how to decide where to part you hair. and it said you can tell by [1] if your nose is angled/leans to the right, part it on the left and vice versa [2] part your hair on the opposite side of your "pretty eye." okay so.. my pretty eye is on the right, but my nose leans to the left. according to #1 i should part it on the left, but according to #2 i should part it on the right. so do i go by eye or nose? its like. when i part it on the right, my pretty eye is showing, but my nose is like ew! so if you look at me from center or left, im pretty. BUT if i part it on the left, my eye is ugh. idk! help? hahaha. (link)
Try parting it one way, then part it on the other side on the next day. Take pictures to decide which one you like the best! Good luck!

i just had a poptart today. and after eating it, i was on the verge of tears..i was SO worried about how fat I would get. i started FREAKING out and crying over the 400 calories...i dunno why. i'm really lost when i'm around food. i tell myself, NO don't eat that, it'll make you fat. but sometimes i still do eat it, and i drive myself nuts over it. sometimes, i could starve for an entire day. and sometimes, i eat something, feel guilty about it, and after chewing it, i spit it out. food just drives me insane. i can't eat anything without worrying. i don't even EAT AFTER SIX. Why am I so worried? I move and I exercise but...I can't stop worrying about gaining weight.
I'm 5'6 and 140 pounds. normal/average-sized.
should I stop worrying? =(
(link)
I would definitely stop worrying about it. If you're constantly tormenting yourself about calories/fat gained/etc. I would do the right thing for your health and maybe seek out some counseling as soon as possible. (A friend, a professional counselor, etc.) If left untreated you could find yourself in a downward spiral to being unfit! And don't let someone else your age tell you that it's normal. People your age are also vulnerable to the same thoughts and ideas that you are. Enjoy life. Eat enough and eat healthy. Good luck!

I saw them on tv but I forgot their names and I'd really like to find a vid of their act.

There's two guys. And I think they only sing comedy stuff.

One thing they did was sing "Please don't stick your penis in a jar of peanut butter.."

and another act was the other guy playing a guitar while telling a story about how he got cut off today and that the person who cut him off gave HIM the finger and that she should know when to use her signals, bitch. (link)
It wouldn't be Tenacious D, would it?

Love them.

ok so me and my friend are in 8th grade
tonight me her her boyfriend and my boyfriend were supposed to go to the movies for a double date.
well usually she doesnt go out with guys and she had just became this guys girfriend and i was like i bet shes gonna stand him up and me my boyfreind and my friends boyfreind went to the movies tonight and she wasnt there and i felt so sorry for her boyfriend but she always does this
WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!! (link)
Let her know the truth! Tell her that she's hurting people by skipping out on the date. And if she doesn't change her ways then don't double date with her anymore.

honestly people,
i hate everything. my family. my friends. my school. my cheerleading team. i cant take anything anymore..someone please help me. (link)
I'm not sure how old you are, but you do not sound like you are in a good situation. Know that there are complete strangers out there in the world (like me) that care for you! Cheerleading can be stressful, especially if your parents are pushing you to do it when you have no interest in it. If I were you, I'd find something that you enjoy to do and do it. (As long as it isn't dangerous or unhealthy.) Try finding some new friends! Talk to people that you usually don't talk to at school. Spend more time with relatives in the area that you love. Write your thoughts down in a personal journal to help express your feelings. Find an emotional outlet such as drawing, writing, or something of the like. Know that you aren't alone!

Hey everyone Im a 15 year old girl in highschool and I need some advice. My used to be best friend recently started getting drunk about a month into our freshman year. At first she started talking about it and I got really mad at her for even thinking about it. I made her promise not to go drinking and promised me she wouldn't. Then I here on homecomming that she drank before the dance with some of my other friends but I just assumed that she was acting crazy at the dance, not actually drunk. I had to hear from SOMEONE ELSE that she drank. So indtead of confronting her I gave her a complete silent treatment for 3 weeks. She finally wrote me a note saying how she was sorry how she messed up our friendship, how we used to be best friends, how shes an idiot, how shell never drink again and stuff like that. I decided to forgive her a few days later. So time went on and we were cool, but then like 4 days ago i found out she FOR SURE was drinking over the weekend. Then today I found out shes planning to go get drunk this weekend. Ive stopped talking to her since i found out she drank last weekend. Am I doing something wrong? How do I handle this? Do i talk to her? I care about her soooooo much. she also has a problem with being taken advantage of by boys. Her mom has cancer, her dads an ex meth user. She keeps trying to work things out with me but I always brush her off. Sometimes im pretty nasty w/ her. Theres more sides to the story, but i think im running out of room so i'll stop. Thanks for taking the time to read this...

BHKchick (link)
It really sounds like your friend is going through a rough time! Her mother has cancer and her dad's an ex meth user. It doesn't sound like your friend is in a healthy emotional state, either. She may be drinking in order to cope with her problems! There are two things that you can do:

1-Be there for her. Tell her that drinking won't solve any of her problems at home! Tell her that you care for her so much and if she's chosen to drink with her other friends to be cool that you don't want to be a part of that. Drinking so early and much in this stage in her life is only going to do her damage. If she responds to this message then you are doing the right thing.
2- However, if you tell her the above and she still tries to drink behind your back, etc. then it might be time to let this certain friend go. Sometimes there isn't much that you can personally do for someone that is making the wrong decisions. Care for her, pray for her if you believe in God, but don't get yourself wrapped up into a bad situation. She could turn the tables around on you and try to get you to drink.

when ever i dance, i get cramps in the side of my sthomach. and its like one of those were people say that u pinch it, and they hurt pretty bad. is their any way that i can keep from getting those? (link)
Before dancing make sure to stretch out your sides and that you're not over-exerting yourself on a full stomach!

my dell laptop has been having trouble with the mic lately. it began a while back, but i never did anything about it because i never used it. now that i play guitar and sing, i want to record myself.

the mic is NOT muted- i've looked at every audio setting possible, and tried to figure it out. it's built in to the laptop, if that provides any help. can anyone tell me how to get it working again? (link)
I'm not an expert on laptops by any means, but I have heard that laptops have general problems with sound/mic and that the best way to get it to work again is to send it off to a professional! I hope you find an easier solution, however! Good luck!

im 14 years old, f. and i weigh 155lbs.
i was wondering if this would work, if i eat like 200calories for breakfast, 100calories for lunch, then go to the gym, and burn like 500-800 calories, then go eat dinner,.
would i lose weight that way, i really need to lose it quickly, and i want to keep it off, and if this isint going to keep it off then i don't want to do it.
but i want to lose about 3-4 lbs a week, if possible. (link)
I was definitely in your shoes at that age and weighed approximately the same that you do now. I would enjoy being 14 years old and not worry so much about your weight! In a few years you will find that you will blossom naturally and your weight should even itself out. As a young person you need to eat healthy and eat enough to grow on! Don't start unhealthy habits at such a young age that could eventually turn into a serious eating disorder. Good luck and best wishes!

hey whatsup. my names casey.
im in 7th grade and im thirteen.i live in bermingham alabama & i go to a christian middleschool, so theres only one class per grade [sucks i know]. But lately the boys in my grade have been really immature. All they talk about is how "hot" the eigth grade girls are, and they never talk to US anymore they just talk to the eigth grade girls. They say were jealous of them. I say NOOO. Girls like to date older guys...am i right? Well then why the hell are these losers non-stop flirting with the boys in our class!?! They have their OWN boys in THEIR class!!
The point is: i dont know wat to do about getting the boys to notice that we [seventh graders] have something to offer to NOT JUST OLDER GIRLS!

HELPPPPP.

-Casey (link)
Dear Casey,

Your current situation seems to be a situation that happens to all 7th graders, etc. I really wouldn't worry about this certain situation unless you happen to have a crush on one of your fellow classmates. Boys and girls going through puberty mature at different rates and it is possible that the boys are noticing the older girls because they are now "blossoming". In the long run it will all even out. A few years down the road you won't even remember this problem because you yourself will be doing a lot of looking.

I have noticed a pattern in my dreams. I would say that in the last five or so years, I've had a few dreams that included pigeons , in one form or another. For example, a few years ago I had a dream that I sacrificed a bunch of pigeons (black/grey) ...but it was not out of hatred at all, and the pigeons were silent and did not feel pain. To clarify things, I am not religious at all, so the sacrificing has nothing to do with religion.
Also, I once had a dream that a bunch of pigeons were flying. The other night, I had a dream ( I don't remember exactly what) that also included a lot of white pigeons. I sometimes have random dreams, like anyone else, but if they include birds, it's more than likely to have pigeons...
I guess everyone has that one recurrent dream, and mine happens to have birds in it.
Any idea what the symbolism of the pigeons might be? (link)
+I found this on pigeons:

http://dreammoods.com/cgibin/searchcsv.pl?method=exact&header=dreamsymbol&search=pigeons
-----
+I found this on another site:

Pigeon: To dream of seeing a pigeon flying, denotes freedom from misunderstanding, and perhaps news from the absent.

http://petrix.com/dreams/animals.html
-----
+And then, there's also this:

Dream Symbols
Dream Symbols were found in your search.pigeon Returning home, or to a "home" inside yourself. To dream of a pigeon usually means that these qualities are advantageous for you to have right now, or they're important to pay attention to. Occasionally, a pigeon in a dream means that you'd benefit by having less of these qualities right now. A pigeon can also represent a person who you feel is showing these qualities. But don't forget... These sites could all say something different, but you need to go on your gut feeling and the answer that means the most to you!

Hope it helped!

do you just sit with your legs crossed and do nothing but try to concentrate on getting everything off your mind?
and can you listen to music when you do it?
