i think i kinda know what you mean...
you want to be around your friends when you crush is around because you feel safe around your friends and you can talk to them just about anything while you get nervous around your crush and think you will say something stupid in front of him. Its like your friends will be there to comfort you while you are talking to your crush.
it means that you like this guy are are afraid to talk to him alone. So you try to be around your friends when you talk to him.

that is NOT stupid! (believe me... we have all done it) but just don't act like your trying TOO hard or it will be obvious. Its ok to dress cute but act like its no big deal! don't be OVERLY willing to talk to him!
you can try finding something common between you and talk about that! You could even try doing that thing that you have in common together! (like sports...etc.)

your like the exact same size i am and i usually buy tankinis (you know the ones that are in between one pieces and bikinis) but 1 pieces don't look very good on me so you might want to stay away from those.
just spend a day at the mall trying on all kinda of bating suits (remember even if it looks bad on the rack, don't be hesitant to try it on because it may look great on your body)
make a day of it...get a starbucks, smoothies, whatever and just have fun!

try wearing things that make you look slender such as cute vintage jackets and high heel shoes that are super cute and make you look taller and skinnier!
also try organizing your closet into groups like shirts pants skirts shorts etc. so they will be accessible and easy to find.

Q: Alright, my mom is taking me shopping soon, and I was wondering if any girls know maybe where some really good shirts described as these:
1.Long sleeved shirts that are sort of plainish, vintagish.
2.Tommy Hilfigure brand shirts
3.Mainly shirts that are very nice, and has hardley anything on it, and maybe a few idea on where to get a huge choice of jeans

Q: ok so like i have those type shorts that everyone wears and they have a little cut on the side. Right you know what i am talking about? Well i have a bunch of those. Plus i have long legs with awesome thies and caves. My sister thinks i wear them way to short. I just think that the shorter the skinnier i look. When they are long i look short and fat. Then my sis gets some and she wears them shorter than i do and she is 10!!!!! I brought it up to her and she got p.o.ed! Isn't the reason we wear them short is b/c girls feel like they are sexier? Please help! Atleast now my sis can't blame for wearing them short! help!!!!

yes i do cheerleading and they are called soffee shorts! they are the most comfortable and cute things to wear!
the shorter they are does not nescessarily make you look skinnier even if you have great legs. I always get mine a little big and roll them down so that they show the white waistband!
just don't get it too short or people will start calling you some naughty names! :-/

Q: Well I straigten my hair everyday because otherwise my hair looks disgusting. My hair has a lot of static whenever I get done straitening it and I even put lotion in it sometimes since my sisters do it and they dont have any static. Is there anything I could do or a product could do for me? Any suggestions?

have you ever dryed your clothes and seen that little lint towel thing that is in the dryer?
rub that on your hair and the static is gone
also you could spray some hair spray on a brush and brush your hair!

well my first makeup was a gift pack from clinique! its great! When I first started wearing make-up it was very suddle! I had
-a little bit of base powder (no liquid)
-some peachy blush (NOT PINK!!!)
-light shimmery eye shadow (not dark colors like blue but a nice pink or bronze is best)
-mascara(i even had clear mascara when i just started wearing make-up)
-and a nice pink or clear lip gloss (no lipstick...ewwww)
if i were you i wouldn't want to start wearing eye liner just yet! ease into it slowly and when you have all your make-up on quick and feel like your good at it then you can wear liner! but just remember not too much!

God made you just the way you are and wouldn't change you for anything. People like you for you and it doesn't matter if you look like a model. Besides they don't get to have a real life like you and i don't know what I would do without eating McDonald's everyonce in a while! :-P
if you still feel bad about yourself then get a membership at the gym and go on a diet (not a crash diet of course) and you can even try out new make up at the mall! thats always fun!

I think that maybe you should just start trying to hang out with her more often. Ask her to go to the movies or ask her to be your partner on a project one day. You could just start trying to talk to each other more often on AIM or on the phone even!

Q: my hair is naturally a very dark brunette and i had it highlighted goldish-blondish. its starting to grow out now and i need some ideas for when i get it done next time. if you could give me websites (besides google) and maybe if you know alot about hair some ideas of your own. i kinda like reese witherspoons brunette color and maybe that with like an ash colored highlights? im open to any ideas though.

well as you know brunettes are so hot right now :) why not go back to your original color on the bottom and then some lighter tones like light brown at the top! it look great i promise. some of my friends have it like that! well i hope that this answers your question and maybe you could get some ideas from cosmopolitan or teen people etc. those are always helpful!

1. sweet and sexy do not get a guys attention if thats what your wanting and if they do it is in the wrong way.
2. try to buy things that are more conservative and not to "hoochieish"

believe me if there is anyone to answer you question it is me. my brother has studied for so many SAT tests that its not even funny. Spanish and Chemistry will definately NOT be on the SAT test. Q: Sometimes when a girl likes a guy a lot, she becomes dumb around him and can't think of anything to say. Well, I'm like that. I'm too nervous to say anything, I never talk to him unless he talks to me... I think he has a crush on me, cause I really never noticed him until he started talking to me . The problem is that everyone's telling me

That's one of the reasons I'm too nervous to talk to him!
When is the perfect time to talk to a guy you like? should I start saying hi to him instead of waiting for him to say hi to me? never really say hi to him, he always does and I reply.

Well maybe you could chat with him like on AIM or something. It is a really easy way to talk to someone without feeling dumb. Also who cares if people are talking... let them talk! It doesn't matter what other people think and if you want to talk to him enough then silly little girls shouldn't stand in the way between you and your love life!
About the nervousness thing... you just need to find something that you both have in common. Maybe if you have any classes together then you could talk about how hard the test was or maybe even have a study group at someone's house to get to know them better. If none of that applys then just be brave and start talking to him!
