Well, if you're good enough, go for it! But if you're so-so, don't try. Spanish will be much more useful in your life.

Lately I've been chatting a lot with this guy. He's a friend of a friend. Anyway, it's been about 3 months now and we have loads in common. We decided to go see a movie together(not a date) next weekend. Trouble is, he's very smart, and when I'm chatting with him I always feel like I'm too stupid for him. When we meet, I'm afraid it might show even more, that he might start talking about things that i don't have much say in and he'll find me unworthy of his time and won't want to be friends anymore. How should I act, or should I plain out cancel the meeting and just stay friends on msn? (link)
Definitly just be yourself. He's probably just trying to impress you.

I like this girl at my school but she is 1 year older than me and in 1 grade ahead of me. She is on my bus and lives really close to me. I dont think she is very popular or has a boyfriend witch is good because im not very popular I mean I have a lot of friends but we are not in the popular group. How should I ask this girl out, do you think its even worth asking her out? Its so hard for me to think of what to say plus I dont know when to asker her out. (link)
Just say "do you want to go out with me?" She could say no but you'd get over it

So here's the deal. I have never had a g/f. But I have a very nice personality and I am very very funny. Whats wrong. HELP (link)
You'll find someone in time. In the meantime, ask some girl out. The worst she could say is no.

I would like to get some sort of animal as a pet. The only thing is that my dad is allergic to furry animals, and my family is very busy, so we couldn't give the pet 24/7 care that often. so, what kind of pet should I get? (link)
Fish are nice, don't require that much care, and are fun to watch

my favorite question of all time:

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? (link)
A woodchuck could chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood! ; )

I recently just lost a pet. Well, actually my cat, Precious, was an outdoor cat. She'd come in and out of the house frequently, but was always home in time for bed.

One day we let her out, and by bed time she didn't come back. Okay, she's been out during the night, no big prob. But, she never returned.

My cat and I were very close. I'm having a hard time dealing with this, and I find myself calling out her name. It doesn't matter if I'm working, or thinking about something else, I'll just start randomly calling out for her.

And my job as a cashier with a grocery store hasn't been much help either. Just seeing and selling cat food makes me all that depressed. And cats I see when I'm outside drive me to tears.

I don't know how to deal! She's been gone for about three months now! How can I deal? (link)
I am very sorry about Precious. First of all, I think that its the hope thats hurting you the most. Second, you have to remember that Precious is, in fact, gone. She is in a better place now. Remember all the happy timew you have been with her and in time you will be ready for a new cat.

My labrador puppy, Chewbacca or Chewie for short, is turning five. His mom is my sister's dog, Vanilla Wafer or Niller, and she has an eye problem. She's gone blind and has such problems that she may have to have her eyes removed. I'm terrifed that Chewie is going to develope the same eye problems. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening? (link)
I don't think there is anything you can do if it is hereditary. Don't worry, though. Many dogs are blind or otherwise handicapped. Her personality won't change. She'll be the same Chewie that she's always been.

do u thinnk beagles are cute? (link)
Yes.

But if you are thinking about getting a beagle, you should reaserch the breed more. In adition to being "cute", they are sometimes stubborn, require a lot of excercise, and do not always get along with other dogs.

My cat, whom I owned for a happy 11 months, ran away. His name was Caspian and he was completely grey, not to mention the most sweet tempered and cutest cat I've even known. My mother let him out one day (even though we both decided before we got him that he would be an INDOOR cat AT ALL TIMES) and he never came back. This, of course, depressed me greatly and he still hasn't come back after two weeks. Slowly, I've let my hope die. How do I deal? (link)
I am very sorry to hear this. It is hard to cope with a lost pet, and even harder to give up hope. He could still be alive, or he could have died. He is probably in a better place. Remembet that it is not your fault that Caspian ran away, and soon you'll be ready for a new cat.

How do you nicely turn down a friend when he asks you to go to prom with him?

Our prom is in May and I think it's a little early to worry about it yet, but he decided to ask me now. To make matters even more fun he's my ex-boyfriend.

Help? (link)
You have to tell him that you just want to be friends. It probably will be kind of hard for him to cope with it, but he will get over it. Just give him some time. Both of you will find someone you want to go out with.
