Hi! Ok I am going to Homecoming soon Oct. 13th and I dpn't know what type of dress to get or where to go to get one! I am 5'3 and 113 pounds so im relatively skinny and want to know what kind of dress would probably look good on me and that i should where. It's formal and I love pretty things. def. try deb if you haven't yet. ummm, maybe like wet seal, charolette russe, even kohls and jcpenny have some really nice dresses. since you are kinda skiinny, i would think about going with either a wrap around type, or like, something that is tight on the chest and flares ouut a bit after the empire seam. :)

I feel terrible for needing to ask ths but does God really exist??
My family (and i??) are christians but lately i doupt that God really made us the earth and everything around us. If so WHY did he make us and the earth EVERYTHING!!!

it's not something that is like, easy to understand all the time. how come you are doubting that God made everything though? i mean, where else could it have all come from? think about how intricate the human body in itself is. how could that have come from nothing? the way all of our systems work together and everything.

Is God real? I'm a raised catholic, but I for about 2 years now I've felt atheist/agnostic.
How do you know it's YOUR god that's real? What if there are many gods? what if there's a goddess?
just give me some proof.
because a lot of times i feel guilty for not being religious and i feel like i should be religious. But I don't want to save myself for marriage and I masturbate which makes me think that I shouldn't be a christian! Can i still be a christian even in spite of those 2 things?

proof. well, if you have a bible, there's an awesome place to start. no one is prefect, and i think that that is something that everyone should realize. just because of those two things, that definatlely doesn't mean that God doesn't love you! he cares for everyone no matter what they do.

I would prefer Christians who are strong in their faith to answer this one, particularly those who have gone through what I am experiencing now.I was raised by a Christian mother who puts her faith completely in Jesus. I never doubted God and was saved at the age of twelve at VBS. I was baptized at 15. Since the day I was saved, four years ago, I've prayed to God every morning, night, and whenever else I felt like it. I read my Bible every morning and night and have almost finished it. I attend church every Sunday and do a Bible study with my family every night. I also attended a small Devotion before school every day for three years. I was certain that I had a personal relationship with Jesus. Then, one night recently, I started thinking. I was just laying in bed and all of the sudden, a wave of doubt hit me. I started questioning everything, including my belief in Jesus. I've prayed and cried so much about these things that I've made myself sick over worrying about them. I've been reading the Gospel again and again trying to find solid evidence. Then, I started wondering if everything in the Bible was real. Please, someone help ease my mind. I want to reccommit myself to Jesus, but first I need to put to rest all of these doubts and rekindle my faith. How can I do this? (link)

I'm going to agree with the person below me completely. I believe that Satan definately enstilled this in your heart. i've been there too, believe me. but i'm sure if you have had a relationship with God for a while and stuff, you have religous leaders you can look up to right? my best advice is to meet with them, maybe even one on one at starbucks or something, and have them try to help you.

i'm not really religious at all. my family doesn't go to church or anything and one day my parents found out i don't really believe in god. and they kinda like freaked and said we're going to start going to church and stuff [we never did]/ k so i have some questions about all this religion stuff.
-who wrote the bible?
-i mean really how is it possible that theres some great god up in the sky?
-who all thought of this? like there had to be someone who came up with this?
-who created these so called sins?
-if being gay is a "sin", why did this god create them?
-how do people know anything of what they looked like or did?

-well, once again, God deccided what were sins.
-God gave everyone free will. there's a story about this in Romans i think if you wanna look it up. He let people do as they pleased so that they themselves would find out what would happen.

Ok, here's the story. When I was younger, I thought of God as an invisible being that always watched you and could do anything he wanted. So i'd always say "yes I believe in god". But as I grew older, people who don't believe in God have pointed things out to me. I mean it was MAN who wrote the bible, and MAN who wrote the ten commandments. who's to say man didn't make it all up? One of my frieds once pointed out that "man does not like the thought of nothing after death, so the created an afterlife to believe in instead". Another person that doesn't believe in God said "he is just like Santa Claus, used to make children be good". These seem like pretty realistic remarks to me. Plus there is no "proof" that he does exist right? People who believe in him just say "the feeling is truly wonderful". I have asked God to come into my heart many times, but I never feel any different. Does this make me Atheist? (link)

Hmm, this is a pretty intense question, so i'll try my best to help you out. i don't think this makes you an atheist. everyone has the ability to believe and have faith in God, the fact that you are trying makes you far from an atheist. it's always been easy for me to believe in God, you know, i was raised by that. but in your case, it doesn't seem like you have been. believe it or not, God did write the Bible, but it was through man. think about it though, how could all these people all be haulusenating the same exact thing, and then tell it in the same way. God is most definately real in my life, and He can definately be real in yours too, and i can see that you want that. and i guess the best advice i can give you is to keep trying. start attending a youth group or something near you and see how they feel about it. ask some people there if they can help you through it. any other questions, you know where to find me. :)

So I am 16/F. I have always liked older guys.
I know this is probably a stupid question, but is that wrong/bad? I mean the guys in my grade are o-k, but they seem so imature to me, and so un aware of how girls wan't to be treated you know? Its probably because they are young, and most of them haven't been jaded yet. But what my main point is, do I even stand a chance with older guys? Or do they think of me like I think of the guys in my grade? (link)

Someone probably already said this, but that's pretty much normal. guys tend to be a little immature, so if they are older, their maturity might match yours better than if they were your age.
