I have also done relay, and I plan on doing it again this year (its coming up in a few weeks for us actually). As catlover already said, you raise money for cancer, walk around the track, and have a lot of fun. they usually have a DJ playing music all day and into the night a little. There are so many activities and things you can do. Its alot of fun, and raises money for a good cause. Also to add to that list of things to bring, dont forget warm clothing. I went to relay last year, and was not expecting it to get as cold as it did that night. You never know what kind of weather your going to get, so be prepared! Good luck, and hope you have fun!!

Last Labor Day, we allowed our 11-year-old son “Brian” to spend the long weekend at the fishing cabin of his best friend Logan; we had our doubts about this, since Logan's mom was alwys kind of a flakey neighbor, but Logan’s family was then moving out-of-state, so this was the last chance the boys would have to spend time together. Brian had a wonderful time. Flash forward six months: I receive a belated holiday letter from Logan’s mom, explaining that she was finally getting organized after their move, and was enclosing a disc of photos taken during Brian’s weekend at the cabin. Most of the pictures are innocuous: the kids climbing trees, toasting marshmallows around the campfire, etc. But there are also a dozen photos of Brian and Logan completely naked, playing in the river and on the beach. These pictures leave nothing to the imagination--you can tell who is circumcised and who is not in every shot. Logan’s younger sister is in a couple of the photos as well.
When we asked Brian, he acknowledged that the kids went skinny dipping whenever they went to the river, and said that Logan’s mother had an album which had lots of naked photos of Logan, and so it all seemed okay at the time. We had no idea when we allowed Brian to go that Logan’s mother would be photographing him in the buff. I am furious with this woman, and I want these pictures deleted before they wind up on the internet, but I don’t know what to do. Our lawyer says that in our state such photos are not illegal if they are not sexual in nature, and the best she could do is write to Logan‘s mother and ask her to erase any photos of Brian. My husband says we shouldn't antoganize her, since there is no way we could know if she actually erased the pictures, and we should just chalk it up to experience. We also don’t know what to do with the disc: Brian wants it himself, and says the disc was of his trip, and was sent to him (the envelope was addressed to me). I’m afraid if he keeps it, his sister may get hold of it and show the pictures at school, as she has been teasing him she will do. Any ideas on what to do?

Im not sure exactly what to do about Logan's mother, but as for the disc of pictures, you could most likely edit the pictures that are on the disc. You could just delete the naked pictures, and Brian could keep the rest of the pictures of his trip on the disc. Or rather, just upload all of the pictures on the disc onto your computer, delete the naked ones, and then copy the rest of the pictures onto a new disc.

Hi, i am going out with this guy and we've been going out for a while but some how I still have feelings for my ex boyfriend but he has another girlfriend. My current boyfriend is so sweet but I still always have feelings for my ex boyfriend Brandon and it's to the point where I keep wondering if we will ever get back together in the future and if he still loves me. I think you should talk to Brandon about it. I'm actually going through a similar thing right now with my ex boyfriend and this new guy thats coming into my life. You have to find out how Brandon feels, and if he still has feelings for you.

I have the lengend of zelda Phantom hour glass and i am stuck on a part...i have all 3 of the spirit things and im supposed to go to the ocean king temple place and try to find the next sea map but i dont know how to get past the floors 7 and 8 at the temple can anyone help me PLEASE!!! (link)

this took me a while to figure out too. to be honest, i went online for help. i went to this FAQ.

I copied and pasted the info below that it says about floors 7 and 8.
+++Seventh Floor+++
Go on the block, and then take the next one. Take the next one, and then
go into the left floor. It's a noisy floor, which will attract nearby
Phantoms unless you're quiet.
Go down, and wait until the Phantom is far away, then run, or walk, right
until you go to the next pair of steps. Go down to Floor 8.
+++Eighth Floor+++
If you watch the Red Phantom's movement, you'll notice him go across an
invisible floor. Hug the black space in the middle until you find a path
that doesn't want to 'jump off'.
Cross it, and then go back up the to the Seventh Floor.
+++Seventh Floor+++
Wait until the Phantom is turned round, then nab it with an Arrow, or slash
it with your Sword. Nevertheless, go past it quickly, and hit the switch.
Run back, and then go up on to the block, ride it upwards.
Then, go left, and smash the Golden Pot quickly for a 30 extra seconds, then
open the chest for a Round Crystal! Let's go back. Wait until the block
comes, then cross it like a bridge over to the Safe Zone.
Go down when the Red Phantom isn't, into the little groove, and then
break the Red Pot, and wait until the Red Phantom is on his way back up,
then go left, then down, then back down the stairs.
+++Eighth Floor+++
Go across the invisible steps, then bring the Crystal to the pedastal. The
spikes lower. But before that, hit the switch, and then go up the stairs.
Boomerang the Yellow Pot to you with the Boomerang, take the seconds, and
then go down.

I will not make this a long, drawn out story, but will say that my ex and I dated on/off for 8 months. We broke up Feb 07, but we often run into each other around town. He has asked me to get back together several times, but I'm so afraid that the same things that will happen that led to us breaking up. He randomly texts or calls me just saying "I want you back". All last summer I dated a guy and I thought things were great. We broke up just before school started and now I find out that things weren't what they seemed at all. He was using me and talking to "his first love" the whole four months we were together. Deep down I knew that I was just going through the motions of dating this guy in the summer. I still had feelings for my 1st bf. When he heard I was single, he called me and we tried to go out again, but it didn't work. I stayed single until Jan 08 and now I go out with a guy who is okay, but I'm starting to have mixed feelings about him. He yells at me all of the time and anytime I get in trouble with my parents he tells me it is obviously because I am extremely stupid. It really hurts when he talks to me like this, but other times we get along. He tells me that he will never break up with me, if I don't want to go out with him it is up to me to break up with him. Well, my first bf has been texting and calling me again for about 2 weeks now. He tells me he will do anything to get me back. We have the same lunch block and he just sits there and stares and smiles at me. Even though I know we don't stand a chance of making things work, I still love him and I want him back. I know it is wrong to talk/text him behind my current bf's back. I even kissed him last week. I want to move on, but I keep getting pulled back by old thoughts and feelings. What should I do? I think I'm going to break up with my current bf because I know it's not fair to stay with him when I have feelings for someone else. (link)

I think that you and your first bf can make it work. If you both still love each other that much, you can make it work. You just need to talk to him about what kept causing both fo you to break up, and how you can resolve that. I think you should break up with your current bf, because you shouldnt have to deal with him yelling at you and putting you down all of the time. Hope that helped!

Just keep searching, Im sure you'll find someone. Sometimes it takes time to find someone, but once you do, it will be great. Did they tell you that they dont liek you like that or do you just assume that they dont? Cause you never know.

Lately my school has been talking to us about abortion. They think it's wrong and I'm not sure about it. I'm NOT pregnant, but there are girls in my school who are and each of them has said they wish they would have had an abortion. I think it's wrong, but it could also be for the best if one was to have an abortion.

I personally dont like the idea about it, however I think it should be availible for certain reasons. Like for teens, because they dont usually plan on having a child that young, it just happens. And because they're probably not ready to have a child and take care of it. They should have the choice of if they want to have an abortion.

do we need to go to our high school counselors to get working papers? or is taht only for people 16 yrs old. im 17. what do i do if i wanna work at some ice craem store for example. i dont have previous experience. do i just walk in and ask some random person who works there if they are still hiring? then what happens? i get papers, fill them out, return, and wait for a call back? do all jobs require interviews? if so, what do they ask you? because the form usually asks all the necessary questions. any tips for interviews? Yes, you will need working papers. I believe you dont need them when your 18 or older. (not sure on that last thing) with my school, the working papers are right in the guidence office. So check there or ask your counselor. First you have to find out if the place is hiring. They will tell you what to do from there. They will probably schedule an interview and ask you to bring in working papers. For what they ask you, it depends on the job and the boss. I work at an Assisted Living place (kinda like a nursing home) and the guy just basically told me what my job would be in the interview. He didnt really ask me anything. However, every job is different.

Well, I know alot of girls who have mostly guy friends. I have alot of guy friends too. Theres nothing wrong with you. You know about all of the girl drama that goes on, and thats why alot of the girls I know have mostly guy friends. To avoid as much girl drama as they can.

Okay, well, I like my friend. Like, as more than a friend. I didn't figure it out until maybe a week ago. Like, we've been friends for about 4 years now. We're not exceptionally close though. Although, our parents are friends.
I never felt that he liked me like that until Monday. Usually, I'm the one who always talks to him first at school. But now, he's always hanging around me. Like in gym, he'll come up and talk to me, instead of the other way around.
And before first period, he comes up and talks to me, or just says hi. He never did that before, except for maybe once or twice. And during lunch everyday, I'm always in the hall with my friend, Lindsay and then when he's done eating he'll come into the hall and talk to me, instead of go hang out with his friend, Matt.
I don't know, I might be getting ahead of myself. Or be jumping to conclusions.
And the main problem is, I don't want to tell him I like him, because, well, what if I'm wrong about him liking me and I get turned down and it makes things awkward between us?
And also, he's never had a girlfriend before. But then again, I've never really had a serious boyfriend.
And my friend Hannah is going to talk to him (without mentioning names).
Also, I think my other friend, Autumn, likes him. And I don't want to do that to her. I mean, I don't even date my friends' ex's. I asked her over the internet if she liked him, and she said she didn't know.
So, does it seem like he likes me? And how do I go about asking him out? Or telling him I like him, especially without hurting Autumn.

Ok this is what Im going through too and I got this advice from my friend, SweetGuyBrokenHeart. I think you just have to tell him that you like him more than friends, but tell him that you dont want it to ruin your friendship if he doesnt feel the same way. You just have to tell him though, because if you dont you would be left wondering how he feels, and you would get nowhere. As for the part where your friend might like him too, You just need to talk to her about that too.

Although Im good at giving good love advice, for some reason I cant help myself. Everytime I like a boy and we start talking, I pick out something about them and lose interest. Why does that happen? Its just I get bored so easily I think, or they start to annoy me, but they dont do anything in particular annoying...I just dont understand. (link)

You shouldnt worry about every little thing. After all, no one is entirely perfect. You have to talk about the things in a person you find interesting. Find things you both have in common and talk about them.

Ashley still hates me and Im trying my best to put things back to the way they were. Im losing sleep, I cant eat, and feel terrible about everything. I never ment to hurt ashley but I was under so much stress and it just came out the wrong way. She said the note helped a little bit but I have no idea what else to do. I miss being able to tell her anything and listining to her, all I wanna do is go back to being friends....I hate myself for everything I said and just want her to talk to me and tell me how she feels...... well you could always get a "close friend" thats friends with both of you and knows both of you well to talk to her. =P
I think you need to tell her what you just told me.. how you miss being able to tell her anything and listen to her and how you just want to get back to being friends. How you just want everything back to how it was.

so here is my problem:
this guy named "K" really likes me (I mean REALLY). But i do not like him at all, and like one of his best friends.
today i figured out that the person that i like "D" also has a secret crush on me. D is one of my best friends, and he is super sweet, kind, and thoughful...did i mention cute too???
the word spreads that D likes me, and soon everyone in school knows....even K.
K and D are no longer friends, and K is really mad at him for liking me too. because D knows that K REALLY REALLY likes me.
Now get this....K and i are kinda friends. and K gets mad real easy and starts throwing fights. i know... he did one not to long ago because he saw one of his other best friends and me at the mall. i want to go out with D. and am really afraid of drama and that stuff occuring.
So what im asking is... what should i do.

Ok, well first of all, if "K" really cares about you, he would want you to be happy. As much as it kills him to see you with someone else, he has to accept it. I think you should talk to him about this. Let him know how you feel.
