Hi! I'm 16-years-old and I'm a junior in high school! I love helping people in any way I can. I've been through a lot in my life, so hopefully my experiences can help people. I am thinking about going to college to become either a counselor or a pediatrician, so that's proof that I love to help people.

okay. i need to talk to someone and none of my friends can really help. my parents are divorced and i dont see my dad very often. i live with my mother who is an alcoholic and gets pissed off easliy. today my brother and mom got into a huge fight. she is now gone, i mean she just left. i called her and she said that she just needed to be alone. she hasnt returned yet, and i dont know what to do. i am only 14 and my brother 11. she is most likely going to come home incredibly drunk and when she is drunk life just sucks... i dont know what to do anymore because i am just sick of it. this isnt the first time she has just left...... You poor thing. :-( I know hwta it's like to have divorced parents, but my mom isn't an alcoholic. If you have any family members that you're close to, you should see them for help. Maybe stay with them for a while while your mom gets help for her alcoholism. You need to do something though, because for one, your mom can't control herself when she's drunk, and something bad could happen. I would suggest calling up your grandpa/grandma, or an aunt or uncle and ask to at least stay the night or for a little while. I hope my advice helped and I hope things get better for you.

Ummmmmm ok this is really weird. I have had these strange dreams for about a week about my friend Nick. The only problem is its like in my dream we are going out. I used to only see him as a friend but now I think I am starting to like him because of all these dreams. What should I do? What do these dreams mean? (link)

I tend to get very confused as a result of my dreams. I once I had a dream similar to yours, where I was going out with a guy and my feelings for him grew stronger. If you truly like him, then you should tell him how you feel about him. Good luck!!

Okay, when you're going out with a guy, the key is to treat him like a friend. Just laugh and have a good time. If he catches on to the fact that you're nervous, then he'll know you like him as maybe more than a friend, and he'll freak out. It's an extremely difficult thing to do...acting as if you want to be friends, but it will help in the long run. Good luck! :-)

My friend and I have always had trouble talking to guys and we don't why. We just start getting all shy and our mind's go blank and just don't act like ourselves. We both like a boy and desperatly want to talk to them. If any of y'all have advice we would GREATLY appreciate it!!! (link)

I'm the exact same way. I can't talk to guys because I'm extremely afraid of them. It's like guys are a whole different species! I think that you should just work up your courage and talk to the guy like you just want to be friends. That way, the guy will feel comfortable around you. Friends first is always the best way! Besides, if you don't do it, you're going to regret not saying something later on. Regret is worse than fear. Good luck!! :-)
