And what do you think about?
How big is your family?
What do other people think of big familes?
Ok! Thanks!!

I am an only child but my mom was one of 7 children so I have a lot of aunts uncles cousins and second cousins! I love having a big family. We have family BBQs and parties for everything. My family is really close to eachother and get togethers are tons of fun. I like being an only child so that I can have time to myself but then still have the huge family I can go to for anything.

my digital camera ran out of battery while it was on
so the lens was left open when i put it in my backpack
now, the lens is stuck out. its kind of half way out. how can i fix my poor camera?
i tried tirning it off and back on. it just got stuck and the screen said "power off and back on" which i did. it got stuck again.
is the only option to buy Å new camera?
thanx so much! (link)

You just need to recharge the batery. Once the battery is recharged you can turn the cameraback on and turn it back off and it will go in. Just be careful with it while the battery is recharing so you don't mess up the lens or break it.

If I wanted to own my own business, such as a tanning salon (or something along those lines), I know I would go to school to major in business. But what would I minor in? If there's not anything specific, what would be a good idea FOR ME to minor in? (link)
|
You should minor is something the would help you deal with the pulblic such as communications, sociaology or public relations. Also if you want to own your own business some finance and accounting classes couldn't hurt and you can't go wrong with computer classes.

well, i will be taking chemistry. I heard it was a very hard class, and i would like to know what to be prepared for. What basic things should i all ready know when going into the class, and what should i memorize (the periodic table???) Is there a lot of math work, and how hard would u rate it 1-10?
also, i'm taking physcology next year. If anyone's ever taken it, could you tell me what you do in the class? (I know what it is, i just want to know about the class) please, and thank you. =D (link)

I took a dual enrollment psychology class through my high school last year. I'm guessing you're taking a basic intro to psychology class. If so, you will being going over the basics of psychology such as an overview of the theories, methods, and applications of psychology as well as the main "players" in the development of psychology. Explanation of the ways psychology and culture have influenced each other, as well as the application of psychological principles and ideas to contemporary issues. Focuses on personality, emotional, and social development; psychological disorders and treatment; cognitive processes and abilities; direct and indirect influences on thoughts, feelings, and behavior; and health, stress, and coping.
About Chem-- it depends on what your teacher wants, really. My teacher had us memorize the periodic table so if you know the teacher has made students memorize it in the past, i suggest doing it now. If they haven't, then there is no point because you will have it with you. The math is just stuff you've learned in Algebra II and the teacher generally gives you a quick review of the math while covering it. My chem class wasn't too bad. The hardest part was memorizing the periodic table, so hopefully you won'thave to do that.

ok i heard this myth that if an elevator breaks down and then when it starts to fall, if you jump before it hits the first floor, then you wont get hurt. is that true? (link)
|
No, that isn't true. Jumping will not prevent you from being hurt in a falling elevator. Imagine being dropped of a building in a cardboard box... That's pretty much what a falling elevator is like. Jupming won't help. But don't worry, they won't fall just because they break down-- they are on cables.

Wrong category.
Sorry!
Some of my friends are going to Six Flags and invited me. I really want to go, but I`m scared of heights + i hate it when rides go upside down like that. I scream for them to stop the right and I almost cry. Haha, it sounds pathetic, but when I was little I was up in some tree really high and this girl was trying to give me a boost, so i fell and broke my jaw. Yeah, anyways, is there some way that I can overcome my fear of this stuff so I can go? (link)
|
The best way to overcome it would to be to just go and get on one. Find the smallest roller coaster that doesn't have any upside down parts and try that one. If you get on a small roller coaster and like it, the others should come a lot easier to you... It worked for one of my friends. We went to Busch Gardens for our senior trip and she was terrified to coasters but we finally got her on one and she loved it and rode all the other ones. There is no guarantee that you will get on the roller coaster and like it, but that's probably the best way to overcome it.

Ok well my huge mosquitto bite somehow like shifted everything and even the redness into like one big pussy pimple on my arm!
is it supposed to?
Am I supposed to pop it or not? (link)
|
Don't pop it. If you open it up it could get more infected. Rub a little rubing alcohol on it twice a day. If it ends up getting poped open make sure you keep it clean or it will get infected.

Okay, so I am tired of using clear nail polish over and over again to make my nails look shiny so I'm thinking of just using a nail buffer cuz according to one of my friends it makes your nails shiny. My question is, is it safe to use a nail buffer? Does it make your nails brittle or does it make it "thin"? (link)
|
Nail buffers are fine to use. They don't mess up your nails. They just buff the lines out on your nails so they are smooth and shiny.

Are you supposed to wear a bra to sleep or not?
I don't think so because it's uncomfortable to sleep in them and I read somewhere that your boobs needs to be bra free for a sertain number of hours on the internet long time ago.
My friend said that though if you don't wear a bra your boobs will get saggy.
bra or no bra? (link)
|
It doesn't matter whether you wear a bra to bed or not. Your boobs won't get saggy without a bra on over night and it also won't hurt anything if you do sleep in a bra.

if i text my friend that lives in arizona
and i live in illinois
will i get charged for long distance? (link)
|
It depends on your phone plan as to how much you will be charged for the text messaging but you don't get charged long distance for text messaging. If you text a lot you might want to look into adding unlimited text messaging on your cell plan. Instead of about 10 cents for every text sent and received, I pay $10 a month for unlimited sending and receiving text messages.

I use Stila Multi-Effect Mascara from Sephora and it works best for curling and length for me. I think it's around $20.
