this is completley normal. especailly for your first period. the next thing you need to know is that the first couple of months your period will be irregular you should mark on a calendar or somewhere the day your period starts and the day it ends. then you should put in a panty liner at least a week BEFORE you're supposed to have your period again, that way you wont leak in your underwear.
