Hello im 18/f and i went on birth control last year. I brought it up to my mom casually, she didnt know i was sexually active so i told her that my periods were irregular and i wanted them to be regular, also i had really bad cramps so birth control helped me with that. If they know you're sexually active just tell her what u said in the question. That you just want to be safe im sure she'll want you to be safe too! Good luck!

Okay i've heard of guys having an orgasm too quickly, but my ex told me that i do too but to be honest i don't know if i've ever had an orgasm. I know that i get very wet and it gets embarracing, do all girls get that way? Hello im 18/f and i've been on birth control for about 2 years now. When i went for my appointment they told me to wait about a month. Just to make sure it was fully in your system. It doesnt matter when you have sex the risks are still there. People can even get pregnant when they're on their period and have sex. But you sound like you got a good head on your shoulders and you know what to do. So i would suggest waiting a month and then go from there :)

k so. some of my friends and sisters are on birth control and most my friends tell me its awesome it makes your periods lighter and it fills your body out like your curves and makes your boobs bigger, they lost a little weight and the pill basically makes you grow up. one of my sisters told me she got really sick and gained 10 pounds but then her body got used to it and it worked to make her periods better. im thinking about going on it because my periods fucking suck and the filling out your body and losing some weight sounds good too mee, plus i dont have too realllly worry about shit when i have sex. so whats the deal? do you only get sick if its a higher dose or something? i dont wanna gain weight cus i dont really like the weight i am now as it is. help please! Hey i had the same questions before i went on birth control! It works wonders on your period. Before i got on it my periods sucked too! They were long and heavy and now they're light and they only last a few days its wonderful! Some people do gain weight some dont. I never did. The pill is 99.9% effective and like you said you wont really have to worry. I never did get sick though when i first went on it. I guess everybody is different. If you do get on the pill i would suggest YAZ. It really is great, and you will know when your period is because you take 4 pills that are like 'sugar' pills so thats helpful! Best of luck :)

Hey im on birth control as well and my boyfriend and i never use condoms and he always ejaculates inside of my almost every time we have sex. You're suppose to take it at the same time but as you i forgot or it slips my mind and i take it when i remember. I havent gotten pregnant from doing it and i've been doing it for about 6 months but everybody is different. Good luck!

how/where do you get plan b?
can you just go to the pharmacy at a local drugstore and ask for it as "plan b" or use the words "emergency contraceptive"?

Yes you can but if you go to a local store such as walmart, or target, you do have to be 18 to get it without a prescription. It is kind of expensive though. I've unfortunely had to buy it before and it cost like $50 dollars but if you dont want a baby its totally worth the money! If you cant afford to pay for it go to your local planned parenthood or one of those facilities they should be able to help you out. Best of luck!

well the only way to know for sure it to take a pregnancy test. These are signs of pregnancy though. The breats being tender, peeing alot, missed period, etc. i would definetly take a pregnancy test to confirm. Best of luck!

So tomorrow after school i have to go to my first gynocologist appointment to get on birth control. I've had sex before but my mom doesn't know that and she's the one who's taking me. I'm scared and i really don't want my mom to know that i have had sex with my boyfriend. She's asked before but i've told her no because i thought she'd be mad at me. I was the same way with my first gynocologist appointment. I told my mom i wanted to get on birth control because my periods were irregular but the truth was i was having sex and i didnt want her to find out. There are many other ways your "cherry" can be popped besides sex, such as tampons. When i went they scheduled me for a pelvic ultra sound and they stuck a probe up my vagina and just looked around at my ovaries to make sure nothing was wrong and it was safe for me to be on birth control. The doctor also asked what birth control method was better for me such as the pill, or shot. Its scary the first time not knowing what to expect, but im sure it will go okay =)

okays sooo, ive been on birth control for like two years now, and i have never known the answer to this question, ive tried to ask my ginocologest but she didnt really answer me.

Birth control isnt 100% effective. Yes it REDUCES the risk but there still is a slight chance you could get pregnant. I wouldnt recommend him cumming in you with/without a condom unless you're ready to deal with the possible outcome of it. I know someone who their boyfriend hardly ever pulls out and shes never gotten pregnant but also know people who use a control and birth control and still got pregnant. Its a risky thing but its really your choice.

so my period is irregular. i get it about every couple of months, like 4. my doctor said that was normal for me. well my boyfriend and i had sex with out a condom for the first time but i said i didnt wanna do it long, and we did a few times then i didnt wanna take any chances. he didnt either. We always are protected too. i know u can get STD's and all that from it, but im NOT on birth control either. so how will i know if im pregnant? im not saying i am, its just is there anything i need to know about it? like signs or whatever? and i cant ask my mom for birth control because she doesnt wanna put me on it at 16 and she doesnt know im sexually active. sorry this is so long, i tried to be as descriptive as possible so it could be understood. thank you. Some signs of pregnancy are morning sickness,tenderness of breasts, fatigue, and many others you can find online if you need to. Just go to google and type in early signs of pregnancy. Just tell your mom that you want to get on birth control to help regulate your periods you dont have to tell her your sexually active though it might help. Even if you get on birth control it would be good to tell your doctor. Remember he keeps everything confidential so it would be a good idea to discuss it with him/her. Dont worry about pregnancy, you dont really have anything to worry about unless he cummed inside of you. Hope i helped

No it doesn't always mean you're pregnant. If you are having sex and you missed your period you should take a pregnancy test just in case. But if you're not dont worry too much about it. It happens alot to girls. They are not regular its just a part of life unfortunetly. But if it constantly is irregular i would suggest you go and see your doctor. Hope i helped :]

Dont listen to what your boyfriend says! You need to tell someone and get away from him! If hes threatning you like this.. i dont think you should have him as a boyfriend! If you dont tell anybody things could get a lot worse! He could end up beating you! You definetly need to tell someone hunny! Good luck!

Yes it is possible but its normal for girls to bleed when their doing something sexual and they aren't on their periods. Some girls are different. Some girls are used to getting fingered harder so they may not notice it.
