I've been with my boyfriend for awhile and its amazing how we can have such a strong relationship without having sex. Most couples our age don't wait this long and I think we're unique because of it. The first time should be the most special. There is not really a guide to "making your first time count" lol, if there was, I would have read it long ago. You will know when it is the right time though. It's just something that happens. I can't really explain. First time, I would say yea, let the guy do all the work and just lay there and enjoy. First it sounds like your bf maybe a virgin and could be just as nervous as you are about going further. Ease into it, don't rush things or it could be bad for you both. As for that act bringing people closer, sometimes it works, and sometimes it backfires in your face. Giving up the v-card it is one important decision. lol I heard this when I was younger to! It does effect everyone differently. Me? I lost alot of water weight I was holding, but I think my butt may have swollen =) lol It really just depends.
