my BEST FRIEND has been for me since 2nd grade, and i dont want anything to come between us.

last year i went out with a guy, umm lou..sure...and he broke up with me...but ive always been crushing on him since. just crushing...i still flirt with others and stuff, but my best friend..uhh..zoe....nos that i "like" him.
lately shes been flirting with lou alot, and she came out and told me she likes him more than a friend. i was really upset, but she promised me that she wouldnt hurt me by going out with him or anything.
so now she told LOU that she liked him, and im thinking that they are soon going to go out, cuz my other friend came up to me and was like, "do you hate zoe now??" and im like why and their like "oops nvm" and so i think they're gonna go out or already are.
so what im asking is should i just let them go and break my heart..but still have my friend and try to forget about it-or let this situation hurt my friendship and make her realize how bad she really hurt me.
ill rate high nomatter what cuz this is longish...thnx

ME and my best friend used to never get in fights but lately she is like causing so much drama and like gettin pissed at me for nuthin and i dunno if there is anything i can do to change this.. should i baQ off for a lil while n let her get her issues strait.. or wut?!? please help!!

well i think you should confront your friend and ask her if anything has been bugging her lately. ask her if you have done anything wrong that she is upset with. that once happened to me and my best friend kara...she did something that i didnt quite like and so i ignored her for a little while and picked a couple of fights. since we've worked it out, we've been closer than ever and i love her to death!!! hope this will help x0x

Hey! I have this really close friend of mine but lately we have started to drift apart from each other. We were especially close--from calls every day to zero calls now. Um, this all started when our council had this summer camp thing at my school and it taught us a lot about ourselves and friendships and it like, totally opened my eyes. I now saw how much she took advantage of me, even when I was a completely loyal friend. Now, I feel because we're not talking to each other anymore, she is trying to make the rest of our council and the rest of my friends turn against me. What shall I do??

ok well make sure that you tell your friends that she is trying to do this horrible act but if she does have them turn against you then they are not and have never been your true friends.

well its difficult to come up with a nickname off the bat but when i wanted a new nickname, i told people to call me the first 4 letters of my last name...stru...it kind of stuck

hey my friend seems like she wants to have all the friends i have so she is trying to take them away and is saying that i cant be some ones friend because that person doesnt like her should i still be her friend if i am not she will make my life a living hell!!!!

i absolutely know where you are coming from...the same thing has happened to me...i think you should take her aside and say "____, you are my friend, but not my only friend. if you cant accept that i have other friends, then please leave me alone." if she reacts badly to that, then she doesn't deserve you as a friend
