well i have this friend and she is all nice and stuff around me...but when another person is around us shes different...for example today we went to abercrombie and i grabbed this shirt and she said she didnt like it...but then when my other friend came and said she liked it, she changed her mind...what should i do about it?

Your friend is obvisly a follower and does things that someone she thinks is cool does. She can't find her self to be her self. You should tell her to stop being a follower and be your self and do what you want. Tell her this the next time she be's a follower. Hope I helped!! I am always here!!

ok so me n my friend have been hangin out with each other a lot since the beggining of the year. u can eve consider us best friends. now all of a sudden she never calls me anymore, or wants to hang out. ts kinda like shes ignoring me. what is going on?

WEll, I don't think she is totally ignoring you. I think that she might be waiting for you to call to, or you to say "let's hang out." she might feel the same way as you do just try and talk to her and find out what she is doing if she does or doesn't want to be bestfriends anymore. And if she says she doesn 't want to be bestfriends anymore then you have to except that and try and be on the look out for any other Best friends or friends that are as good as her or better. my best guy friend and i tried to start a bf and gf relationship but we feel uncomfortable being that. we just wanna be really close friends. i was wondering should i ask him to the prom and just say we can go as friends?! and when should i ask him?!

Well, your scared when your bf and gf you feel like you have to be more then yourslef when you are around him and impress him. Well, make something fair and switch off with each one. Say I don't take sides and i just want to be each one of your friends together.Also say this is the only fair way i don't like one of you better then the other and if they don't understand they might not be worth the friendship. Well you shouldn't brake the realtionship of talking with him and being friends with him cuz that is the only way u'll become closer then friends and u don't want to lost that. Hope i helped

Well, maybe you are jealous of her and so you think different from her. She probaly doesn't relize what she is acting cool, and other people don't relize either it is just you. If you were her friend you wouldn't be saying things mean to her or thinking she's " sooo cool." Friends aren't supposed to fight they are suppose to be a loving, caring, almost sister type feeling but you don't think this way correct? She might take things the wrong way because she doesn't know what you are talking about nor does she understand. But what you should do if ya feel that way is maybe try and over come that feeling and wait a little bit before you tell her. Maybe tell her like in a week or later. But first, ask another friend of yours that knows her to as well as you do and see if she feels the same way as you do. If she says no i don't think she thinks she is soo cool then you are possibly jealous of her. But if she says yes then tell your friend that you think that she thinks she's o soo cool. My old bff spread rumors that i was cutting myself and had social problems when i was out of school one week beacause i had mono. Everyone believed them and it about ruined my social life i had no friends for about a month then i met my new bff. The old one apologized and we are friends again but she always tries to start little fights between us like i couldnt talk to her crush or ne other boy cuz i have a bf. Wut should i do? friends or not friends?

Well, I think you guys aren't really good friends hardly even friends. There is one little string of hair that is holding you guys together and that part comes from u. No body is a friend if they talk about u and start rumors that are totally not true that can really hurt someone. You guys aren't friends. But there is always someone in the world for someone test out some new people...

my friends just wrote something in my advice colomn and its about me and this is wut it said...

okay well me and my friends have this REALLY weird friend! and omg she is s0o0o0o annoying! she wears the gayest cloths ever and the gayest shoes and like no one likes her. she used to be our good friend but now she is just sooooo weird and its so annoying. plus none of the guys like her and neither do the girls. i mean she is just soo weird its like ahhhh! and she copys EVERYONE on EVERYTHING! and we are just like tired of it cuz shes so gay and so annoying! should we tell her or just keep pretending to like her?


i dont know wut to do...im so flippin hurt and im so frustrated...plz..i need advice...i rate high (i dont wear the gayest clothes or the gayest shoes ever either)

Oh my gosh! Some friends you have. They may seem like really nice and so forth but they aren't it seems. I know how you feel. How could your closet friend talk behind your back on something not true? Well, just go along with it and try and pretend nothing has happened. Try meeting some new friends and hang out with people that don't seem so bad of you. Hope I helped!

I'm 13 and female. Ok, my best guy friend is startin to act all wierd. I mean, he used to be so nice and sweet to me and give me all sorts of advice on guys. That was before he got with his girlfriend. Then he got with is girlfriend and he was still just as sweet and kind, but then they broke up and now he's so different. It's hard to explain. He's not as sweet as he used to be and he doesn't give advice, he just says,"ur screwed then" and he's always talking to his ex-girlfriend. I don't mean to be jealous, but I do get jealous easily. He really has changed. I know he says I'm his best female friend, because he told me. I don't know how to ask him what's up with out sounding totally bitchy or jealous. Please help. I'm an advice comlumnist,too and I guess everyone needs help once in a while.

I think he is depressed and is hurting the one he loves the most and doens't relize it.TAlk with him and see if there is anything u can do. OR tell him how u feel. Be honest with him.
