I think the thing is a lot of girls get to worried about what they say around guys like there is certain stuff but for the most part guys just like to be around girls who are themselves and dont try to hard. Just have confidence and dont hold back, have fun.

The other day I had to step out of my dorm room to ask a question to someone but my hair was in really terrible shape so I coudn't go out there looking like that. So I put on my shower cap to go out because I lost my headscarf. But, the thing was my shower cap smelled and once I walked down the hall I could smell it and it was a strong enough odor for others to smell I believe. I was near about 3 people one girl was standing on the other side of the desk another girl was sitting at the desk I was standing at but she was sitting down and another was standing on my opposite side but she was facing the opposing direction of me. Do you think anyone else smelled it and if so how do you think that will effect me and people I comunicate with on a daily basis? (link)

I'm always unnoticed, no matter what group I'm in. My friends in my group now sometimes don't even realize I'm there, and i really feel like they dont care about me or dont want to hang out with me. How can i be noticed, and make people smile, and just flat out like me? It seems like no one in my group thinks of me as a good friend besides maybe 2 people. You dont neccesarily have to be loud to have fun just make jokes. Have agood time without looking like you are trying too hard or anything. They are your friends im sure they love u and appreciate you. All you have to do is learn to shine in your own way. Make your own light and just incorporate yourself with the group invite them over or something.

my friend of one year, we became really close and we became a group with 3 other girls. so anyway, this year shes starting to be really rude to me, ignoring me, and treating me different than my other friends. i have talked to her about it at least 7 times and she does not listen. if i had the choice, i wouldnt be friends with her.. but we're in a group. AND shes in my lunch, and my only friend there and she totally ignores me. what can i do, or what can i do to not make me so upset?!! (link)

first off you cant really define her as a friend, you honestly have to make new friends outside of your group. You can still hang out with the others in your clique but eventually your going to have to make new friends anyways.

i need some ways of making new friends and fast. i dont have many (i have a couple)- not because im wierd or anything, but i really cant hold a conversation, like theres an awkward pause. and im shy too. not ONLY that but i act diff. in school then i do when im with my good friends like outside of school. in school im shy and dont really say all that much. outside of school im like loud crazy and wild &funny. i need some help on ways to make new friends fast (ones that i can hang with outside of school and stuff) and ways to be myself in school so people will like me. my one friend follows me around like crazy and gets jelous when i talk to other people. im like her only friend. its anyoying and i kinda wanna pool away from her because its stopping me from meeting new people. Well what i can tell you is that if you want to make new friends and be meet more people then be confident. dont act different in school just be yourself!! Trust me i moved from florida all the way to maryland two different types of areas and i had to adjust to a whole new enviroment, and at first alot of people didnt like me because of how different i was and now i have a lot of friends just because i didnt hold back i stayed myself amd was confident. About your shadow friend well just slowely pull away from her start hanging out with new people [if you want] eventually she will get the picture!

sarah goes through these phases. one minute she'll be like OMG BFF Love you so much, then the next she'll kinda ignore me. it's soooooooooo annoying! for ex. i did somethin really nice by takin her, me and her other closest friends to the poconos this weekend to celebrate her birthdya which was on friday. all durin the trip she was= like really good, but then when we got back saturday night, she started like bein weird. its hard to explain.

that you want to make your closest friends there is nothing wrong with keeping her as a friend but as of keeping her as a close friend i wouldnt suggest it, i suggest you begin to surrond yourself with otha people and make sure not to keep her the closest of your friend because chances are if she acts like that she dosnt deserve to be your best friend

you see the problem with confronting people about anything they said wrong is that 99.9% of people get intimidated by people who have the nerve to confront them so alot of the time people will act stupid hoping that will let them slip through the crack
