Ok, well i've been best friends with this boy since like the beginning of this year, which might not sound long, but we're really close. So anyway, i liked him at the beginning of the year before we were friends, but i stopped before anything happened. Then we became best friends, because he found out and we started talking more. So then just a few days ago, Friday actually, I wasnt at school, because i went to Maryland, so i left him a comment on his xanga that said, I'm gonna miss you today :-) im sorry i couldnt come to you LAST baseball game, i REALLY wanted to.
QUESTIONS::
1) Why didnt he seem bothered by the rumors?
Because people are spreading stuff, and bothering you about it which is sending you mixed messages about if you really do like him or not.
2) How do we stop these rumors, theyre too hard to ignore.
Yeah, they will be hard to ignore but you're just going to have to deal with it untill they die off. This is your best friend here and that's it. They need to learn to accept that. Don't stop talking to him though because of the rupors, that stupid.
3) Why does everyone think i like him?
Well that comment is sort of hinting to the fact that you like him .. but probably because you talk to him alot, hang out with him ect. But that what you do with best firends.. they'll eventually see it.
4) Why couldn't i stop thinking about him? Because of all the chaos thats going on. But you really have to think, do you like him ? because to me, it sounds like he likes you. That's why he guessed himself as someone you like hoping you'd say yes and was so curious to know who you like. But if you really think of him as ONLY a best friend, don't ruin that and stick to the other guy you like. You could probably ruin a friendship that means alot to you by goinq out with them and not really liking them as a boyfriend then eventually breaking up than just staying friends. so concider it.

Sorry if its long thats because im giving detail.
Well, it all started out at school I have a best friend named Tomas and hes the populariest guy in school, and he has a girl friend Haily, who is my best friend and shes the most populariest girl in school. Well Tomas and I sat at lunch next to each other and with our friends than all of a sudden we were all talking about dating and boyfriend and girlfriend and my friend goes will you go out with Holly? and he said maybe yeah, kinda. And he was right next to me and he said it out loud and everyone was like Ohhh you have a boyfriend Holly im like shh.. keep it on the low we may get in trouble than all of a sudden i like him to but he doesn't know and now im acting different around him because im scared he may hate me, and he likes me of who i am now, and i don't want to change who i am because i know he will not like me and i don't want that, and he has a girlfriend.. so what should i do? Its not stopping and im not just going to say Tomas i like you! its not that easy. and worse part i know im acting different when im around him.. i can't be me.. its hard around him.. PLEASE HELP ME!
I totally understand that because everyone always feels that way about someone eventually. Honestly though, the best thing to do is just try to be really good friends with him right now. Especially since this is your best friend. It might be hard but you don't want to be the cause of them breaking up and lose your friend and it won't be that bad. Your relationships don;'t last forever especially since they're popular. I'm sure she'll find someone new. So just hold it off for a little and knoinq untill they break uo your "jsut firends" will make it easier to talk to him.

my best friend thinks im lying to her but im really not and she just wont believe me i tried talking to her but it isnt helping!!! what else should i do??
I'm one of those people who take lyinq soo serious. I hate liars more than anything and it botheres me even more when I get accused of doinq it. If this is you BEST friend, she should have no reason not to trust what you say untill it's PROVEN to her that you can't be trusted. Let her kno how offensivly you take this and you could go on and on but if she's not goinq to trust and belive in what you have to say.. then there's not point in even being friend. I mean, what kind of relationship is that? Lyinq is too mcuh trouble, drama and not worth your time and neithere is a friend who belives that stuff.

a lot of my friends tell me to dump my boyfriend because hes hurt me a lot. but hes also made me so much happier. i dont know what to tell them to stop them from telling me what to do. no matter what they say im not going to leave him. i'd rather die first. literaly. it just gets annoying when they do this to me. its getting me mad at my friends which makes my boyfriend mad at them because i get mad at them. and i havent had too good of friends in the past either. we've been going out for 1 1/2 years. i dont know what to tell them. any ideas?
Friesndy like that aren't good friends but some people don't realize how hurtful they're being. I'm sure they say what they say just to try to protect you because they care but they need to know when to lay off. Have a serious talk with them and just be lyke "guys, i'm happy with my boyfriend and as much as you tell me to break it off with him, it's not goind to happen.. i lvoe him too much. you can either accept it or not but lay off with all the negative coment and stuff. i dont need it." and from there see if they lay off. if not u dont need them.

My friend is soo depressed, that everytime I'm with her, she brings me down too. And I try to cheer her up, but she just gives me one of those fake smiles. It is breaking up our friendship now, and I don't want that to happen. What do I do to help her?!
Take her somewhere where she can't help but have fun. Lyke a comedy movie(hitch is a good one), bowling is never boring. Stuff like that to make her smile for real. Stuff lyke that never fails and she'll be so giggly around you that it'll be back like old times.

umm my friend who isnt really now used to abuse me and my other friends.. when i finally got the guts to tell her to stop she gets mad... she hits u so hard and it makes you feel like you want to die. shes hurt a lot of my other friends to and she even hurts guyys=.. well so anyways she hit me really hard on the head and i didnt say anything so then she says i dont think she felt that and kills me with two more slaps... so i went home crying and of course my parents fournd out. my mom accualy went over and talked to them. she doesnt even care and now i think she is going to tell everyone else a whole different story even though i have witnesses. also she is friends with most of my other friends too even though im better friends with them then she is. i am just scared that no one will believe me or she might accually hurt me again. im so scared i dont even no wat to do now... HELP!!!
This girl has problems and I'm not even kidding. This may sound way over the top of what you think but you need to tella counsler or have someone call her parents about this. Ignore what ever she has to say too. Don't gever her the time of the day. It's nto worth it. Your friends will understand and everything will be fine.

sorry i didnt no what this went under, so i put it under friendship.
anyways, im going to my friends sleepover tonight and if i stay up most of the night/all night then i get a headache, but the thing is, i think everyone is going 2 stay up all night and i dont want to be the only one asleep, while everone is having fun.
has anyone got anything i could do to help me not get headaches??
When I get a migrane I always take tylenol gel caps. They work REALLY well and right away. Take one just befor the time you get a headache normally or right when you get one and it'll go away instantly.

I dont know if this is the right cateorgory but w/e. Ok well let me put it this way my classmates most of them are jerks. Well see the thin is i am smart like really smart and my classmates make fun of me for it because i get all 100% on my tests and quizzes. and they also hate the fact that when we have a huge test and we have to write stuff down i dont take notes because i rember it all and then i get higher grades then the people that wrote it all down. so i guess what i am asking is how can i get my class to stop annoying and makin fun of me because i am so smart.
It's great that you get good grades like that !! Don't let any of them put you down. When they`re workinq at Mcdonalds and you have a big time job we`ll see who's gunna be laughinq lol Just let them know that it's really annoyinq and discouraging the way they say things to you. If they don't stop just ignore it and know you`re the better person.
