ok this is wicked embarassing but im a 14 year old boy and im not alot like my friends. i get scared wicked easily. i hate it! i hav panick attax wen im outside in the dark.after i saw the movie The Village(which sucked) i couldnt get those creatures out of my head and ive had a hard time sleeping ever since. wen me and my friend saw it i kept grabbing the arms on the seat(not his arms of course} and he kept asking me if i was feeling ok and he sed that my face was all white and harfly ever blinked. i just wanna no how i can stop being afraid so that wen i c a scary movie w/ a girl im not the one huddled up againstt her (link)

Hey, I love my life, things are going great! and things are gonna turn out JUST like i planned! But my best friend, well things didn't go the way she planned. And now, i don't think she knows WHAT to do with her life. See, her dad got in a serious Semi Truck accident, and he is 100% disable. And then this year year mom died. Her brother isn't helping the problem or helping my best friend. So, all my friend has is her friends, she kinda pushed me out of her life, and lied to me like making her dad call me and say that we cant hang out because she is sick, when she is actually hanging out with her other friends. I dont think her friends are the right friends she should be handing out with...because ever since her mom died, she's been smoking, and then she has been drinking, and racing in neighborhoods in cars with her friends, racing in their cars trying to run away from people with guns. We dont really talk anymore, and she said she'd never drink again but she lied, and still is. If she wont listin to me, how can i help her?

depression.....try talkin to her if that doesnt work get someone else to talk to her that she'll listen to that'll give her sum good advice that'll help her stop smoking and drinking.

i got into a bad fight once with a really good friend of mine. i would always here these stories that he was talking about me behind my back. and he would also hit me and yell at me when i did something he didnt like. i finally got fed up with it and i havnt talked to him since. He kept trying for a while to become friends again but we never did, now we dont talk. should i apologise to him or call him? please help me (link)

if he hits you lyke that i dont think its such a good idea for you guys to be friends. friends shouldnt hit you if ever they get mad @ you they should tell you not by hitting you thats just wrong. tell him that you dont want tha ssame thing to happen lyke it did and you dont want a friend that hits you.

I know this isnt exactly a 'friendship' question but my friend is in real trouble. *
Hes 16, his dad is a drunk, hes got a step mom, and brothers and sisters. Hes my ex boyfriend. He doesnt live in the same state as me but his dad beats him. He pukes all the time from it. Its horrible. He cant do anything about it bc everytime he tells someone his dad denys it and says he plays all these sports and he skateboards so he could have gotten them from somewhere else. His dad only beats on him and none of his other brothers and sisters. i dont know what to do but i mean i really want to help him and i really need to help him. he needs to get out of there fast. ive tried havin him go to the cops but his dad uses the same story. nothings. working. someone please help me! i really want to help him out but i dont know how :// im scared for his life. try getting him ta go to tha police again and if his dad does tha same thing tell him ta stick up for himself try an get sum evidence that his dad does that stuff. if that doesnt work maybe he should move out and go sumplace where he feels safe and try tellin tha cops ta hear him out w/o his dad bein ther so he can tell them his side of tha story.

my best friends parents got devorced about a year ago, and ever since then he has gone into a distructive pattern, he cut himself, smoked pot, and drank, he did all of this to try to dampen the pain. is there anything i can do to get him to stop those and actually help him? (link)

i think maybe you should get somebody for him to talk to to help him out with his problems. i had a friend that started to cut herself and that she was depressed and she did it to dampen tha pain too. she talked to somebody and it helped her out and now shes a lot better than be4. try gettin him ta talk to someone that'll listen ta him and ta help him.

A lot of people judge people by their looks and not by their personality. i used to do that too. i realized you arnt going to become a better person and your not going to meet people by judging other people by their looks. It makes me want to cry how i am experecing this. I realized i have been doing that too. i told some people about this person awhile back whom i liked. he wasn't the greatest looking person and the people i told knew that. when i told them, they all looked at me in discuss. that night i reconsidered liking him because of what he looked like and how dorky he was. Now i could have become really good friends with that cretin guy, but because of people and myself judging him, i am not friends with him. Everyone will not notice this, but every look you give a person, if its bad it will bring him/her down. just think about it. How would ypu fee; about it, people making fun of the way you look, or the cold looks you get every day when you walk down the halls. you see every popular boy and girl with someone, having un. Then you see yourslef looking at them wishing you were them. Christina Auhulara has inspired me to write this paragraph, Her song "Beautiful" is a great song. I hope some day you will listen to this song and think the same this i do.
