would it be ok to wear flats with shorts?
It all depends in your style. I've used flats before with short and cute blouses. In my opinion it looks perfectly fine, even adorable really. I've seen a lot of people wear it too. And dont forget that the color's should match.
how do i find like my "personal" style. like something thats me. it seems like everyone does what everyone else does, e ven if that is them. so how do i know if something is me?
That's a really hard question, but it has an easy answer. How do you find your own style? Well, it's something you'll like. Most people fit into labels like emo, goth, punk, prep, just so they can follow one of those specific styles because it's easier that way. But if you want to find your personal style, just wear things YOU like. Even if they're not in. It takes a lot of confidence to do that though. But try incorporating things you like into your wordrobe. Do you like feeling comfortable? Then a pair of jeans and shirt will do. Do you like acessorizing? Then wear a bunch of bracelets with colorful beads. Put your imagination into how you dress. You like fantasy books? Then dress like a pirate princess. You can get small stuff from other styles and make it yours. Like a collage. It's part of other magazines, but when you cut it and paste it all unto a paper it's YOUR collage. How will you know what is you? Because you'll feel comfortable wearing it, you'll like it no matter what others say. And because it'll have your touch and imagination in it. You can always be part of a crowd, but you can always be yourself too.
Hope that helps
I'm not sure if I have the right category for this but I have these horrible stretch marks a little below my butt...and since it's summer I want to go out to the beach in a bathing suit but I dont know what to wear to cover my gross butt while looking cute & girlie. I have tried to get rid of the stretch marks for years but they aren't going away. Is there anything I could wear like a type of swimsuit or is there anyway to hide them? Thanks!
I have the same thing. and truthfully nothing really will clear them up. Not even exercise. The cocoa butter might clear some but it takes a bit of time. And boy shorts arent really too cute. In stores like Sears they sell cute skirtinis. They're like bikini's with cute little skirts on top. It covers just the right amount of skin so that might work. Plus they're really popular this summer. But dont forget to always use any type of cream or butter on that part of the skin to prevent future stretch marks.
does anyone know if Garnier Fructis Long & Strong shampoo and conditioner system actually works? does it really make your hair stronger so it can grow longer or do they just say that so you will buy it? i'm looking to grow my hair out longer and i heard about this shampoo and was wondering if it really works.
thanks =D
Yeah, it definetely does.
This product makes your hair silkier and a bit stronger.
The first time you may notice your hair breaking more, but thats just because it gets rid of the very damaged hair. But the second time you will definetely notice that your hair seems healthier. It makes it smoother and less choppy, meaning it'll definetely grow quicker.
Hope I helped
Hey everyone. I've never had any type of bangs, and it makes me kind of proud that I haven't followed that trend of the side band thing. But lately I've been thinking a lot about getting them, the thing is, I'm afraid I might regret it. (as in, not like how it looks on me) I know I can click them back if I don't like them, but I'm still unsure. In some magazines, it reccomends the side bangs for my face shape. But I realllyy don't know. What are the ups & downs of side bangs? Here are some pictures, if you could just help me decide please..

Thannnnk you.
Since I'm studying to be a hair stylist, I actually cut my own hair. A while ago I was scared to get the bangs, because I kept thinking that I would never be able to do anything with my hair. Mostly because I also wanted the choppy look in all my hair. But I decided to cut it anyways. It turned out great actually. It's a nice look and compliments the face greatly. And there are no downs really, except pushing your hair out of your eyes once in a while.
I really hate my hair. It's thick, curly, and hard to do anything with. I was straightening my hair (I always do but it seems not to do anything) and I always but the top (thick) layer up in a pony tail and straighten the bottom layer (thin) then switch it around when I'm done. So, when I was straightening the bottom layer and I just love it, it's so straight and thin and I love it. But then I do the top layer and it's all..blah! I seriously hate the top layer and love the bottom layer. How can I get my whole head to be like the bottom layer without spending a lot of money? I kinda also want blonde highlights. I have really dark brown hair. So how can I get my hair like the bottom layer? (Sorry the highlights were totally out of subject)
It's easy
Just divide it into more layers
Instead of just the top part and middle part, divide it into more layers and do it all little by little. Each piece of hair that you put in the iron should be as wide and 3 fingers, and not very thick. You should pass the iron by each strand about 5 times.
Believe it or not, it works, even if it'll take you like two hours.
Have someone do the back since you wont reach it that good.
Hope thats helps
hey im 13/f
k i wanna know how to keep my clothes from not shrinking when i wash/dry them. i buy like cute clothes and then like a month later they begin to like get a little smaller and its not becuz im growin if u have anything tell me.
I think it may have to do a lot with you growing even if you havn't noticed. But even if it doesnt, try letting them dry out in the sun. Dryers tend to shrink clothes. And always buy clothes a size bigger if you're planning to wear them and dry them a lot. Thats what I always do, because then after I dry them a few times they dont fit, even if they are my size.
Good luck
I'm really pale. I mean, my body refuses to tan easily. I mean, I've layed out in the sun for about an hour and I have some tan lines but not really noticable. How can I tan better? I don't want to be the pale girl anymore! Oh and whenever I'm outside, I seem to get a lot of freckles...how can I stop that? Thanks~
If you go to sun-tan again instead of putting sunscreen put a tanning lotion or oil. They help you get a golden tan. Even though you could always use a fake one like the ones they sell on the stored. Also, if you have light hair you could always make it darker. Dark hair makes your skin also look a shade or two darker.
