Most people fit into labels like emo, goth, punk, prep, just so they can follow one of those specific styles because it's easier that way. But if you want to find your personal style, just wear things YOU like. Even if they're not in. It takes a lot of confidence to do that though. But try incorporating things you like into your wordrobe. Do you like feeling comfortable? Then a pair of jeans and shirt will do. Do you like acessorizing? Then wear a bunch of bracelets with colorful beads. Put your imagination into how you dress. You like fantasy books? Then dress like a pirate princess. You can get small stuff from other styles and make it yours. Like a collage. It's part of other magazines, but when you cut it and paste it all unto a paper it's YOUR collage. How will you know what is you? Because you'll feel comfortable wearing it, you'll like it no matter what others say. And because it'll have your touch and imagination in it. You can always be part of a crowd, but you can always be yourself too.
Hope that helps [ H3arts_Collid3's advice column | Ask H3arts_Collid3 A Question ]
