Q: Okay guys. I need help. I've been suffering from anorexia for about 3 months now. i've went from 140 to 105 in those months. my dad is starting to get suspishious. i need help. i hate anorexia, but i don't want it to go away. i don't know. help?! i rate highh, higher than the sky. haha.
A: Anorexia is very dangerous, and although it helps you lose weight very quickly, it also undermines your overall physical health. Since you probably aren't getting the right vitamins and minerals from your diet, which means that your bones and muscles will start to deteriorate and weaken.
You should seek advice from your pediatrician or doctor as soon as humanly possible. Depending on how you think your parents will react, it might be best to tell them, first, but if you think they won't take it well, it might be better for them to hear it from a medical professional who has some suggestions on how to deal with it.
Don't be afraid to get help! Although it might be difficult to get up the nerve to do so, it'll be better for your long-term health.

Q: (Sorry, I wasnt sure what category to put it under) Ok, ever since 5th grade I really started to hate my life. I mean, this large group of girls were doing petty things and were lying to the principal. Alot of people hate me. I lost 25 maybe more, friends. I cant take it anymore. My friends are starting to ignore me and "snub" me! Im starting to feel very depressed and lonely. My self-esteem is 2. Not alot. I cry myself to sleep. My family life isnt any better. My mom is SUPER paranoid, so I cant tell her anything. My dad wont understand. My mom wont let me go over to my friends house and such! Please help!

A: Ah, junior high.
Well, if you don't have any friends at school, make some elsewhere that you can talk to! Church groups, Girl Scouts, rec center sports teams...
Unfortunately, a lot of girls go through an "evil phase" around middle school that may last through high school or even longer - you know, they talk behind each others' backs, and they're sooooo concerned with getting boys? If you're not into the same things they are, they may think you're not trendy or "in" - but trust me, it's so much more fun to be yourself.
Not having parents that you feel comfortable talking to stinks. You could always try and catch a favorite teacher after school and see if they can help you, or something like that.
As for your mom not wanting you to go over to your friends' houses, try asking her why she doesn't want you to. In giving a response to her, try and be as mature and reasonable as possible - if she sees you as being mature, then she'll probably let you have more freedom :) It's very important to be able to hang out with your friends, after all.
As for crying yourself to sleep... I know how that is, I've been there, and the key is to find something to be excited about. Find a hobby, like, say, writing, web design, reading, making up stories in your head, whatever, and try and think about it until your brain goes numb. Find your happy place. Having nice, calm music helps, too.
If you're beginning to feel depressed/suicidal or you start to inflict physical pain on yourself, it's possible you're clinically depressed, and you ought to talk to your physician or a guidance counselor.

Q: well my friend Amanda finch cuts. she cant stop. plz help she wants to kill herslef and i hope she doesnt! help! how do i support her?! i need ideans and QUICK!
A: Go tell a school administrator or guidance counselor IMMEDIATELY. I repeat, IMMEDIATELY. Stop reading this and go tell someone about this. She needs to get help, and SOON. There are psychologists and doctors that can help make her feel better so that she doesn't feel like she has to cut herself. In the meantime, just hang by her, and try and be comforting and friendly.

A: Try looking for a product called AcneFree at your local Walmart or Target etc. It's a low-price clone of ProAcne and it works very well. Also, I'd suggest Clean and Clear's Blackhead Clearing Astringent.

Q: yesterday i had a fever of 101.5..i thought it was just side effects from a chicken pox vaccine that i got a week or two ago..the lady told me that was to be expected. however, i was supposed to get better in a day. well, today, my temperature is 101.7. i have to sing on sunday at another church (a solo)...i have been drinking fluids and resting and taking ibuprofen but nothing is helping. in fact, my throat is hurting more than yesterday.
how can i get better in a hurry?
A: Sleep. A lot. It seems like you're doing all you can to make it go away, but rest will definitely help. Depending on what you have, it might be more difficult to get better right away, but I sure hope you do!

Q: ohh my how do you get rid of a large scab on your face in a mattter of a few days!! I really really really need advice, its not huge but, it just makes a difference and i feel like its all that people are looking at! Please help me!
A: Don't pick at it. It may seem like it removes the problem, but it'll keep growing back until it heals completely underneath, and you'll get a scar.
