I play field hockey, which mostly requires running, but now I'm off-season, and I need to do track.
In order to try out, you have to do push ups, sits ups, pull ups....all that fun stuff.
My question is, how exactly can you improve the amount of push-ups you do? I can do a few, but I want to be able to do more.
hmm, tough one i know i can lift quite a few pounds, but i cant do too many push ups. it just doesnt roll right for some people. you could always try lifting with dumbells and try bench pressing a couple times a week

I am 13/f and I do dance, however can 30 mins of dance twice a week be considered enough excercise? Also, I am 5ft 4in and weigh like 140lbs which is considered Overweight. Would I need to do more excercise just to even maintain my weight and not get any bigger? Also, what types of clothes (for girls) look very slimming? I have a problem with fat protruding under my clothes making me look very horrible. What can I do about the saggy skin? It just hangs there. I want to look very tone and not jiggle at all. Society is so unaccepting of Big people like me it is hard to belive sometimes!
thats not really 'overweight', you might be a little heavy, but no worry. if you feel that its getting to you, consult a health and nutrition expert, its no big deal and they help a lot. try lifting weights, jogging for 10-30 minutes, because dance, i think, isnt gonna be enough alone.
sweatshirts and coats help, but be confident and you wont even have to worry about it
