So this year in cheerleading they are going to have the girls that can do round offs turn the plain round offs into a round off toe touch!!! i can get the round off part, but if i can get some advice on how to go straight into the toe touch afterwards that would be great!!!! i CAN do them seperatly, but when it comes to putting them together i'm at total loss. Any Advice?

i have been a high school competition cheerleader and an All Star cheerleader so i think i can help :)

first....
Do a few round offs.
try to get a really high rebound. once you have mastered roundoff rebound, you can go into the toe touch.
next...
warm up your jumps. do your toe touches seperately so it is easier to do them going from a round off.

all you do it ride your rebound up and hit your toe touch.

look at this video. she does a roundoff, and stops, then does a toe touch. and that was not very pretty was it? and she had no rebound

Hey I played volleyball for a while. So I hope this helps! Number one: get a volley ball.
2: fill it up and start doing drills. Drills like toss it up then put your hands and arms in the passing position and hit the ball and keep hitting it up for about 10 times. Try to make the ball go straight up. Once you've gotten good at that, go up to about 20 hits and go until you can do about 50. Then, start trying to be able to pass it at an angle. Experiment around a bit and try to make it go at a certain angle high, then make it go lower. (lower pass). Once you have gottn pretty good at passing, work on sets. When you are setting you need to have the right form first of all. Put your hands in the airand connect your two pointer fingers and you thumbs (making a triangle) then hit the ball straight up with your finger tips. Once you can hit it up pretty high, work on setting it up, but to an angle. (when you set the ball your thumbs and pointer fivers can seperate I was just letting you know the correct form. and Try to make it be a silent set, don't slap it or make it very loud) Like up but not to high. and remember not to hit it in front of you hit it up, get under the ball don't set it straight out that will make it go into the net.) Once you get good at setting go onto hitting. (spiking) get someone to set a ball to you, then take a two step approach and slam the ball down on the floor. You have to get your timing right.

Heyy i am a varsity cheerleader for my school and my coach is yelling at us to turn our hips out. I really don't kno wat that means. Like my jumps have been good and all and i just need help. Is there any easy way to help me turn them out?? Also could you help me to get my jumps higher too??? My toe touch is high but i would want it to be higher. Is there anyway to help me?? Thanks you!! Heyy i've been on all-star squads and was on my middle and high school squad so I think I can help. Not trying to gloat but my jumps are very high and they are easy for me to do. When she says to turns your hips out she means to be almost doing a split in the air. If you know how to do a horizontal split that's great, if not practice and stretch so you can. (if you need advice on how to do it inbox me) This will Make your toe touch eaiser to hit.

As to getting your jumps higher:
Find weights, tie them to your ankles and do toe touches. I know this will be hard to get your toe touches as high as usual but this will work on your hight because your body naturaly wants to get as high as usual. :)
Also another way is to go to the ground and touch your hands to the ground, (like squating) and jump up as high as possible and put your hands an arms out like you're hitting a toe touch and go back to a 'squat' and do it again. Do thi about 20 times and it will build up your mussles in your leg so you can go higher when you are actually jumping. It should burn your quads. Do it again unroll it doesn't burn, do it everyday and it should really help!!! :) hope my advice helped you, if you need. Anything else feel free to inbox me!! :)

Im trying out for my highschool cheerleading squad, and i need to know the requirements? Does anyone know? Do you need to be in a certain weight class? And, also, is tossing to hand hard to learn. My tryouts are in about 2 and a half months and i need to have toss to hands, ive never done it, but i need to learn. two more things, how can i get my weight down fast, im skinny, but i weigh about 145. Im five seven, any idea's? thanks in advance (link)
Depending on schools, there is no weight class. It isn't a big issue. As long as you can do jumps good it's fine. Don't make a big deal of your weight... It's perfecty normal for your height and you will be fine as long as you have skills.
