Q: i'm 16/f.
i want to loose some weight, not alot, but some. and i want to get toned. i found a workout in seventeen that i've been doing for maybe 2 days. and i've kind of added my own moves.

i was wondering this...i've already decided to drop soda. which i know you can drop a TON of weight just by that. but what if i ate kinda small portions of healthy stuff? would that make me unhealthy? i was thinking like..oatmeal for breakfast or something, or some toast. and then rice cakes for lunch at school, or one of those cambells soup at hand things. and then have some kind of healthy dinner. would i basically be unhealthy? would it slow down my matabolism?

good question; hopefully i give you a good answer...

yes, dropping soda is great because sugar becomes fat eventually and excess sugar goes into your blood stream and becomes trigylcerides; not that you have to worry about that till you are much much older, but making new healthy habbits now is super!

all you really need to focus on is getting rid of sugar and portion control...don't think it means no good junk food; it means eating right ammout, being sensible...for example; i use to order a large meat lover's pizza; now it is only meduim's and they last three days at least!

if you plan on doing any weight training which is key to loosing and keeping off weight, go slow...don't go over board or you may burn out, get bored and quit...

I've never tried marijuana, i've obviously heard a lot about it from health class and that, but I'm very curious about it. pretty much everyone i know takes a hit once in a while, some more than others, but i'm never around when they do.

I guess i'm just wondering if it's really worth a try. I told myself I would never try it; that i want to be able to grow old and tell my grandkids that hey, it really is possible to be straightedge your whole life, and you CAN say no.

My sister says I would really like the feeling because I'm pretty chill to begin with.

three problems with smoking pot:

1) it costs money

2) you need to have a job and most test for drugs

3) it is, in most states illegal, which means going to jail, going to court and you will have to explain to future employers why this is on your record..

now, if you can live with those three, be my guest...however know also, they call it dope fopr a reason; they dont say go smoke some genuis...

lastly, pot is a 'gateway' drug to harder drugs; at some point you will not get the 'cherry' high you did first time and you will spend time and money trying to get that back...it is sooo not worth all that...you choose the behaviour, you choose the consequence...

good question...my guess is to educate yourself on things you are passionate about, find groups of people who share your passions and get involved that way...good luck....

i am not familliar with such a sight, i am sure it is there some where...try wwf=world wild life funds or such....look up animal rights sites, or worse comes to worse, make your own bracelets and sell them.....

Q: would a tinted moisturizer make my face feel/look like i have makeup on? i want to be able to touch my face and it feel like nothing is on it.

a moisterizer is just that; it adds to your skin...for best results try the spray on make up...cant think of the name of it, leeza gibbons uses it in her infomercial....dont be fooled...i am straight!!! just trying to help!

hmmm there are various ways to got about soling this problem without leaving you in the pits...

first, if able, go see your doctor; this is not uncommon for women or men.

the second idea would be to use something with nitrate or baking soda; it sounds silly but is a good temporary fix.

also, easiest is they have plenty of over-the-counter remedies in deodarants...if you can not find one strong enough use a men's non-scented type..

bottom line...don't sweat it!!! we are only human!!!

Q: where can i find fresh figs and jackfruit in supermarkets? do they even sell them? i only see dried/jam figs and dried/canned jackfruit

for fresh figs and fresh jack fruit skip your supermarket altogether...try either farmer's markets in your area or even better a food specialty store...good luck

Q: I was born in USA. so were the parents. I'm part scottish but that side has been in USA for a long time. My last name is scottish aswell. So if I want to go to scotland, would I need a passport? I wouldn't see why if I'm part scottish. Just curious, it looks interesting over there. Do I?

sadly but truly, your ;last name has no effect on goverment and traveling...it onloy matters that you are american...you will need a passport and maybe even a visa as well, depedning on country...as a general rule, i would get both to make sure i dont get stuck in an airport somewhere and find out too late....contact the scottish embassy in your state/city and ask or go on line and find out...even better, book a flight through a travel agaent whop can really tell you what is going on over there, and if it is even safe to travel there....Scotland is wonderfdul and fun and has such a rich history(aside from the drinking and pubs and wool and sheep)....

Q: Ok, so my mum stopped smoking "trees" for a few months. She hasn't been doing it. She is going for a new job. She said she would not smoke even after the test. She took the test. Tonight It is late and I walk past the hall, a breeze rolls through, I cought a scent of "Trees". So I go to the back room, It gets stronger. She is not holding anything but I see the "thing" in the ash tray. I felt like saying something but acted as if I didn't notice. sadly, it will not stop until she is ready, if she ever will be, and there is nothing you can do about it...if both of them are doing things then it just reinforces the fact..let's find out the cause of whyy they feel theyneed the crap to begin with, and go from there...drugs, trees, flowers, fish...theyare all crutches, nothing more. they will not make her smarter, sexier, better or anything...they do not all it smoking genius for a reason...

worry less about the cost and the inner workings and find out why she needs to use it to begin with...

Q: I would like to know why men have such crazy sexual fantasies. I mean i can understand some but lately i have been talking to my boyfriend and some of his friends about it (awkward) and things they said they'd like to do were either pretty extreme or just really weird and out there. I mean i understand it to a point but why are men so into the role playing? rule 1: men are visual creatures. we see it in our mind's eye and if it appeals to us, then generally we tend to act on it.

rule 2: women are visual and mental and question the actions/motives of their male counterparts...they want to know the reasons behind such an action and often will ask, "why do you like this or that?"

bottom line: make sure you are comfortable with whatever idea your partner has in mind, that it is not degrading or something you will regret or just laugh about in a month...

be honest with each other...

hmm...fetishes are as varied as people. it is only because 'foot freaks' are most well known, but there are a million of them. Some fetishes are based on articles of clothing; for example a veil, a shoe style or even hair clips....for some it is a physical fetish, an ear,a foot, a navel...it all depends on the individuals tastes and desires...it is normal and not to be worried about, but if it makes you feel uncomfortable or cause pain, run...you may have one or two and not even know it...the best thing to do is talk with the person who has the fetish, ask questrions but DO NOT MOCK OR MAKE FUN OF THE PERSON because a fetish is a very personal thing...

it is a nice way to warn you to be careful...apparently, there is something aboujt this girl that every one sees but you, which often happens...it may be something in her past, it may be the way she comes across i.e., presents herself, or it could simply be a comment she made that rubbed someone the wrong way...if it is the last one, a slip of the lip, then let it go; they will judge her by the way she treats you when you are together; is she rude? does she cuss? does she cut you off or anyoine else, in mid-sentence? does the conversation have to revolve around her and leave you and everyone else out? It is hard to see the small things when you love someone, so do not blow up and be mad, just start to look for little things that seem to upset or out right anger your family about her...worse comes to worse, ask them what it is they do not care for about her....
